    Occupational Therapy

    On this episode, we'll be discussing Occupational Therapy, which is one of the six primary services One Kids Place offers . Occupational Therapist Kate Stadnyk discusses how she helps children on a day-to-day basis with self care, leisure and productivity. Later in the episode Jude Krause, who utilized the services One Kids Place offers after suffering a stroke at age 11, opens up about his progression and how it helped him get to where he is now as an adult.     On this episode, we'll be discussing Physiotherapy, which is one of the six primary services One Kids Place offers. Physiotherapist Laura Koski-Harja discusses how Physiotherapy is an important service within One Kids Place and how much it changes from working with adults to working with children and infants. Later on in the episode Jody and Dave Dugas, who started the NoahStrong foundation and whose son Noah was in the process of initiating his treatment plan, discusses how the services offered helped them through a very difficult time in their life.

Andrea Martin and Alicia Garcia, who are both Speech-Language Pathologists at One Kids Place, discusses how they help children with not just speaking but also feeding and swallowing.

    Therapeutic Recreation

    On this episode, we'll be discussing Therapeutic Recreation, which is one of the six primary services One Kids Place offers.  Recreation Therapist Jacob Farrer discusses how the service helps children and how he got involved with One Kids Place after volunteering in high school. Later in the episode Jim Stewart talks about his involvement with the program and the work One Kids Place does with NADY (Nipissing Association for Disabled Youth).
