Ep 78: A Love Letter to Tarot and A Goodbye For Now

In this 78th episode of Tarot with Bonnie and Peter, Bonnie and Peter sit down for their final episode together for now. After so many conversations about life, tarot, and everything in between, this episode is a look back at what this podcast has meant to both of them, and a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who has listened, watched, shared, commented, and pulled cards alongside them. Peter shares why he’s taking a break from the podcast as he begins a full-time in-person Master’s program, and Bonnie shares that while this podcast is coming to a close, she will be starting something new with Tarot with Bonnie. This episode is part reflection, part celebration, and part love letter to tarot. Bonnie and Peter talk about why tarot has meant so much to both of them, how their tarot journeys unfolded in very different ways, and how the cards have shaped the way they listen, reflect, and make meaning of life. They also share some of their favourite tarot decks, books, and resources, from beloved classics to newer favourites. Peter shares his love of free-flowing narrative card reading, where the cards tell a story without needing a rigid structure, while Bonnie talks about her approach to daily guidance, decision-making, and personal reflection. Together, they reflect on tarot as a living practice: one that grows with you, surprises you, and keeps offering new layers over time. To close the episode, Bonnie and Peter each pull a card and offer their personal insights. Thank you for listening, learning, laughing, being our special guests and pulling cards with us. We wouldn’t have done this without your support! Tarot with Bonnie and Peter has been such a meaningful journey, and we are so grateful you’ve been part of it. Ep 77 - The Joyful and Light Side of Tarot: Inspired by the Summer Solstice

Tarot sometimes gets a reputation for being heavy. Death, the Tower, the Devil — the cards everyone's heard of are usually the scary ones (because those are the cards that show up in movies right before something bad happens).  With the summer solstice landing this week — the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere — Bonnie and Peter decided it was time to give the light and joyful cards their due. They walk through The Sun, and what that card actually feels like in the body when it shows up — not happiness as a concept, but that palpable feeling of kids on the last day of school.  They mention a handful of other cards that are purely joy and light filled and they even discuss a few cards that don't usually get filed under "joyful" but absolutely earn the spot once you look closer.  It's an honest conversation about what these cards have actually meant for each of them, not just what the books say. At the end, Bonnie and Peter each pull a card in answer to the same question: What part of me is ready for more light right now? The pulls — and what they said about each of them — are worth sticking around for. Join the Conversation: Send us a message and tell us what joyful and light cards are your top picks. Ep 76 - Stalker Cards: Our Most Persistent Tarot Messages

We all have that one card. The one that keeps showing up no matter what you ask. In tarot, we call these stalker cards — and in this episode of Tarot with Bonnie and Peter, we're getting personal about ours. Stalker cards are persistent for a reason. These are the cards that act as mirrors, reflecting back something we haven't fully seen yet — a pattern, a lesson, an invitation we keep sidestepping. The deck, it turns out, is remarkably patient. Bonnie shares her experience with the Seven of Swords and The Tower, two cards that kept asking the same question — are you ready to stop hiding? Peter opens up about the Magician, the card that followed him during his early tarot journey and kept pointing him back toward his own capacity for manifestation and lifelong learning. As it turns out, the cards were right. They usually are. Bonnie and Peter explore what it actually means when a card keeps returning. They talk about tracking recurring cards through journaling so the patterns become visible over time, and stalker cards that show up in client readings. At the end we each pull a card — and the results were worth sticking around for. Join the Conversation: What's your stalker card? The one that keeps following you and showing up? Send us a message and tell us what it is — and whether you've figured out what it's been trying to say. Love the podcast? Subscribe so you don't miss future episodes. Ep 75 - Spring Awakening with the Tarot

Spring is the season of fresh starts, new beginnings, and seeds we may not see blooming quite yet. In this episode of Tarot with Bonnie and Peter, we explore how the tarot can help us understand the energy of spring as a time of new beginnings, and also as a season of patience, faith, action, and growth. We explore tarot cards that carry strong spring energy and the questions they invite us to consider: What is beginning? What needs tending? What beliefs support our growth? And what choices are we being called to make? Peter shares a three-card spread inspired by the Zodiac cards of the spring season: The Emperor and our relationship with authority, The Hierophant and the codes or beliefs we live by, and The Lovers and the choices that shape our path. Bonnie introduces a new three-card spread called Seed, Soil, and Sun, created to help you explore what new possibility is being planted, what will help it take root, and what energy will help it grow. Bonnie drew cards from the Gaian Tarot, and we shared our insights revealing themes of awakening, passionate movement, spontaneity, and standing firm in your authentic path. Spring reminds us that growth doesn’t happen all at once. Sometimes the most important work is hidden and growing beneath the surface.  Join the Conversation: What new beginning is stirring for you this spring? Which tarot card feels most connected to your season of growth right now? Send us a message and tell us what you’re planting, tending, or ready to let bloom. Love the podcast? Ep 72 – Reading Tarot for Yourself: Tips for Clearer, More Supportive Self-Readings

In this episode, Peter and Bonnie have an honest conversation about reading tarot for yourself—how to make self-readings feel clearer and more supportive, especially when you’re still building confidence. We explore simple ways to create space and intention before a reading, and we offer encouragement for anyone who hasn’t started yet because they don’t feel “ready.” You don’t need to know every meaning to begin—starting is often how you become familiar with the cards and how you deepen your relationship with them. We also talk about asking better questions, along with boundaries around asking about other people. A big part of this conversation is about regulation—how to notice when you’re reaching for the cards from a grounded place versus a reactive one. We get into expectations too: how releasing the need for a specific outcome can make your readings clearer. We also share a few personal practices we love—like leaving cards out for the day to sit with the message, and keeping a deck that’s just for your own readings. At the end of the episode, we each draw a card and share how we’d interpret it if we had pulled it for ourselves—it’s honest, in real-time, and reflective. Ep 71 – Emerging From Darkness to Light with the Tarot

In this episode, Peter and Bonnie talk about the journey through the darker, more difficult terrain of the Major Arcana—and what it can look like to move through those initiatory moments toward something brighter on the other side. We explore the arc and energy of Death, The Devil, and The Tower—not as “bad” cards, but as powerful markers of transformation. From there, we shift into the emerging light of The Star, The Moon, and The Sun—hope returning, the softness of moonlight, and clarity arriving in its own timing. We also reflect on the emotional layers of the Five of Cups and Eight of Cups—grief, healing, perspective, and the reminder that moving forward isn’t always about escaping something difficult. Sometimes it’s about listening to the quiet pull toward something new and having the courage and strength to walk toward it. Peter guides us through a three-card spread aligned with this theme, and we each share our own insights into what came through. This one goes deep. There were a lot of profound insights and a-ha moments in this episode.  You don’t want to miss it.
