Faith That Won’t Quit: Deeper Faith, Long Obedience & Everyday Faithfulness

What if your problem isn’t that you don’t have *enough* faith, but that your faith needs to go *deeper*? In this message, Pastor Brandon unpacks what “faith that won’t quit” really looks like. Using a powerful picture of God’s grace as an endless well and faith as the rope and bucket we lower into it, he shows why big miracles are actually built on long, quiet faithfulness—small, predetermined acts of obedience over time. We explore: - Why **you don’t need more faith, you need deeper faith**   - How God’s **grace is an endless well**, and faith simply draws from what He’s already provided   - The difference between **faith** (trusting God) and **faithfulness** (staying loyal and obedient over time)   - Why you **haven’t lost your faith, you’ve starved it**—and how to start feeding it again   - How pre‑deciding in areas like **money, relationships, parenting, and time** builds a life of stability and peace   - Why Jesus connects **money, trust, and “true riches”** (Luke 16:10–12)   - How stories like **William Wilberforce** and the heroes of **Hebrews 11** show us what long obedience looks like   - Why constantly chasing a “better” opportunity, church, or ministry can sabotage your spiritual growth   - How a simple posture of **showing up and staying** can position you for God’s timing and promotion Key Scriptures:   Habakkuk 2:2–4 – “The righteous will live by their faithfulness.”   Luke 16:10–12 – “Faithful in very little… faithful in much.”   Hebrews 11 – Faith, faithfulness, and unseen promises. You’ll be challenged to: - Stop trying to make “great faith” do the job that **steady obedience** is meant to do   - Identify “short ropes” in your life—areas where poor wisdom, lack of order, or fear are **limiting the reach of your faith**   - Pre‑decide how you will obey God in the areas that usually trip you up   - See your everyday choices as the “boring pages” that make the **miracle chapters** of your story even possible If you’re tired of hype, quick fixes, and faith that fizzles out when life gets hard, this teaching will help you build **long faith**—faith that endures, trusts, and keeps going when nothing seems to be happening. --- ⏩ **NEXT STEPS** • SUBSCRIBE for more messages on faith, discipleship, spiritual formation, and everyday obedience   • SHARE this message with someone who feels like their faith is failing or stuck   • COMMENT: Where is God calling you to “stay in the room” and be faithful right now? --- 📖 **MORE MESSAGES ON FAITH & FAITHFULNESS** • Living by Faith, Not Feelings   • How to Trust God When Nothing Changes   • Money, Trust, and True Riches --- #Faith #Faithfulness #ChristianFaith #DeeperFaith #SpiritualGrowth #Discipleship #LongObedience #Habakkuk2 #Hebrews11 #Luke16 #GraceOfGod #ChristianTeaching #Sermon2026 #OasisCityChurch

Raised - He Is Not Here: Living in Resurrection Power || LINDSAY HODGES

The resurrection of Jesus isn't just a historical event we celebrate once a year - it's the transformative power that calls us out of our graves and into abundant life. This message centers on a profound truth found in Matthew 28, when the angel declares to the women at the tomb: 'He is not here.' Those four words carry revolutionary implications for our daily walk with Christ. Just as Jesus didn't remain in the grave after resurrection, we aren't meant to stay in the tombs of our old lives either. The parallel with Lazarus is striking - when Jesus called him forth, He didn't say 'stay put' but commanded him to come out and have his grave clothes removed. We've been given resurrection life through Christ, which means everything we need for godliness is already available to us through His divine power. Yet we often find ourselves tempted to return to familiar tombs - those patterns of sin, destructive relationships, or limiting mindsets that once defined us. The call is clear: set our hearts and minds on things above, actively putting to death what belongs to our earthly nature, and walking in the freedom Christ purchased for us. This isn't about legalism or rule-following, but about focusing so intently on Jesus and the resurrection life that the old grave loses its appeal. We're challenged to place a sign on our former tombs that reads 'I don't belong here anymore' and to throw back any grave clothes still clinging to us.
