    Welcome to this week's worship service at The Vine! 🌿 As we continue our journey through the Gospel of John, we come to the closing moments of the Last Supper in John 13:31–38. Judas has just left to betray Jesus. The cross is only hours away. Yet instead of focusing on His own suffering, Jesus prepares His disciples for what lies ahead with words of hope, love, and grace. At the heart of this passage is a powerful truth: Jesus calls us to glorify Him by trusting His plan, loving His people, and depending on His grace rather than our own strength. In this message, we explore:- How God's greatest glory is often revealed through what looks like defeat- Why love is the defining mark of every follower of Jesus- What it means to love others as Christ has loved us- Why following Jesus depends on His grace—not our own strength- The hope we find in Peter's failure and Christ's faithful restoration When the cross looked like defeat, heaven saw victory. When Peter confidently declared he would never fall, Jesus already knew his weakness—and loved him anyway. This passage reminds us that our confidence is not found in our own resolve but in the grace of the Savior who knows us completely and never stops pursuing us.     Welcome to this week's worship service at The Vine! 🌿 As we continue our journey through the Gospel of John, we come to one of the most sobering moments in Jesus' final evening with His disciples. In John 13:18–30, Jesus reveals that one of His closest followers will betray Him. At the heart of this passage is a challenging truth: Being near Jesus is not the same as belonging to Jesus. Judas had spent years walking with Jesus, hearing His teaching, witnessing His miracles, and even sharing meals with Him. Yet proximity to Jesus never became surrender to Jesus. This passage invites us to examine not just where we are physically, but where our hearts truly belong. In this message, we explore:- How Jesus knows every heart completely- Why being around Jesus is different from truly following Him- How every heart ultimately chooses either light or darkness- The danger of outward religion without inward transformation This passage is not meant to leave us in fear, but in honest reflection. Jesus still extends grace, even to the one who would betray Him. His invitation remains the same today: don't simply stay close to Christ—be changed by Christ.     Welcome to this week's worship service at The Vine! 🌿 In today's message, we begin John 13, where Jesus shares one of the most unforgettable demonstrations of His love. On the night before His crucifixion, the King of kings does what no one expected—He kneels down and washes His disciples' feet. This wasn't simply an act of kindness. It was a picture of the gospel itself. At the heart of this passage is a powerful truth: The love of Jesus humbles us before it transforms us, and once it transforms us, it sends us out to humbly serve others. In this message, we explore:- How the love of Jesus willingly stoops to serve- Why God's grace must first be received before it can be given- What Jesus teaches us about true humility- How those who have been cleansed by Christ are called to become servants of others Peter wanted to serve Jesus before allowing Jesus to serve him. But Jesus reminds us that we cannot give what we have not first received. His cleansing grace changes us from the inside out, and that transformed life naturally overflows into humble service. This passage challenges us to ask:- Have I received the cleansing grace of Christ?- Am I serving others from a heart transformed by His love?- Does my life reflect the humility of my Savior?
