    Well… that was interesting. After a chaotic afternoon at St Andrew’s, where the Blades battled to a point with ten men following Femi Seriki’s red card, one big talking point came out of the game — the switch back to a back three. United went 1-0 down, missed a penalty, and it really felt like it wasn’t going to be our night… but Pat Bamford’s equaliser gave the Blades a lifeline. From there, the switch to three at the back seemed to settle things down and helped United see the game out for a hard-earned draw. So the big question now… Is it time to bring back the back three? It’s a system that’s brought the Blades plenty of success in the past — but is it the answer right now? Or was it simply a case of game management with ten men?     What a strange afternoon for the Blades at St Andrew’s. It looked like it was going to be one of those evenings for Sheffield United. Femi Seriki saw red in the first half, Birmingham immediately took the lead, and when the Blades missed a penalty it really felt like the night was slipping away. But this United side showed some serious character. Pat Bamford levelled the scores to get the Blades right back into it, and despite being down to ten men, United battled brilliantly to earn a hard-fought point away from home. A big talking point came when United switched back to a three-at-the-back system to see the game out — a familiar shape for the Blades that seemed to give the team a bit more control and resilience.
