    Host Blake More celebrates women on the radio with KGUA Fm Gualala founder and longtime radio host Peggy Berryhill.  Join us as we reflect on community, the importance of radio, the nuances of self healing and more.  More of a conversation than an interview, a version of this conversation initially aired on Peggy’s Place on KGUA FM – purely by accident. Peggy’s expected guests did not arrive, and I was there, so we winged it live. I’m sharing it here because our conversation offers a backroom glimpse into what can happen when people listen to each other. Peggy Jo Berryhill, Mvskoke (muhs-KOH-gee), Bird Clan, is a Native broadcaster and journalist honored for her work in bringing the authentic voice of Native Americans, Indigenous people, women and other minorities into public broadcasting. Affectionately known as “The First Lady of Native Radio”, her body of work spans five decades. Peggy is the founder and President of the Native Media Resource Center, aka NMRC, a nonprofit organization that provides education, collaborative and creative support for Native American, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian organizations and promotes cross-cultural understanding. In 2010, the NMRC constructed and later launched KGUA 88.3 FM, a public radio station in Gualala, California. Berryhill is the current co-owner and operator of the station and still does a live interview show “Peggy’s Place” twice weekly.

    Vibrational Science Pioneer & Visionary Don Estes on Be More Now

    Host Blake More interviews vibrational science pioneer Don Estes. Estes's decades worth of research into the vibrational nature of reality and the laws that govern the relationship between humans and everything else -- a science he calls: Harmonic Law – is as simple as it is complex and like nothing I have encountered anywhere. He is also the developer of the Light Sound Vibration technology that I use in my “Love Sound Bus”, but again, this interview was conducted before I adopted it in my practice!    Don is a pioneer, uncovering the connections between vibrational science, consciousness and spirituality, and he uses vibration and music as vehicles to achieve transcendence of the human state.     We will be discussing his lifelong quest to develop methods and practices to use sound, light and vibration technologies rather than psychedelics to access non-ordinary states of mind.

    Blake More and Mendocino County local, David Nicols, discuss archetypal astrology and coherent group fields and how these tools can be used to catalyze large-scale positive transformation. Author of Subtle Activism: The Inner Dimension of Social and Planetary Transformation (SUNY Press), Nicol offers insight into how we can understand and meet our world’s challenges and insights through the quantifiable language of astrology.   David Nicol, Ph.D. is a leading scholar-practitioner at the intersection of personal and collective transformation, with a particular focus on the power of coherent group fields to catalyze large-scale change. He is the author of Subtle Activism: The Inner Dimension of Social and Planetary Transformation (SUNY Press), the first comprehensive study demonstrating how collective meditation and prayer can measurably influence social outcomes. You will hear the voices of Mendocino County locals, as well as youth, theatrical readings of famous works and other surprises — shifting us into the spirit of the season with a wonderful mix of poets who answered the call for “seasonal poetry” on Facebook and beyond. One Candle, released by Nymphya on November 14th, but it was born across two Winter Solstices: written on Solstice Eve to capture the night’s magic, and recorded the following Solstice Eve to enhance that same energy.
