    The Testimony He Almost Lost

Faith crisis. Pregnancy loss. Spiritual drift. Feeling abandoned. Quiet spiritual experiences. Rebuilding testimony. Jesus Christ, covenant faith, healing, belonging, grace, and learning how to hold on when belief becomes harder than it used to be. Jordan’s testimony began long before he realized it was growing. As a young man navigating family heartbreak, instability, and loneliness, small spiritual experiences quietly rooted faith deep inside him. Mentors, coaches, church leaders, and faithful families became evidence that God was aware of him—even when life felt uncertain. But testimony planted in youth still has to survive adulthood. Years later, after devastating pregnancy loss and seasons where both he and his wife found themselves drifting into a more casual relationship with faith, Jordan was forced to wrestle with what he actually believed… and whether those early spiritual experiences were real enough to carry him through grief, disappointment, and doubt. This episode is a deeply honest conversation about the slow cultivation of testimony, the danger of spiritual complacency, and the way Jesus Christ patiently calls people back—even after seasons of numbness, distance, or struggle. From sacred moments that shaped him as a teenager… to faith crises inside marriage… to building a Christ-centered home and fatherhood intentionally different from the one he experienced growing up… Jordan’s story is a reminder that testimony is rarely built all at once. But the Savior can rebuild it stronger than before.  Chapters: 00:00 – Finding self-worth through Jesus Christ instead of seeking approval from others. 01:28 – Family heartbreak, divorce, and the mentors who changed Jordan’s life forever. 07:15 – Learning that true healing begins by knowing your divine worth. 09:20 – How serving and coaching youth gave purpose to a broken season. 15:15 – Meeting Joselyn, sharing faith, and building an eternal family together. 19:45 – The spiritual experiences that anchored Jordan’s testimony of Jesus Christ and His restored Church. 30:55 – Watching faithful parents fall away and choosing to stay on the covenant path. 40:10 – Breaking generational cycles through covenants, grace, and Christ-centered marriage. 44:00 – A child's illness, miscarriage, and discovering God's strength in suffering. 49:20 – Raising children with Christ at the center of everyday life. 54:45 – Why Jordan chooses to stay in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 57:30 – Forgiveness, covenant discipleship, and finding lasting peace through Jesus Christ.

    Trusting God After Tragic Accidents

faith through loss, miraculous survival, grief and redemption, spiritual promptings, LDS stories, surviving tragedy, second chances, healing after heartbreak, trusting God in darkness By all appearances, Brian Hall’s life should have broken him. A fatal accident on a dark highway. A young wife gone in an instant. A child left in his arms. And years later, another unimaginable loss waiting around the corner. But this story isn’t about a man crushed by tragedy. It’s about the strange, sacred moments that kept finding him in the middle of it. A missionary companionship that nearly fell apart. The Blessing They Almost Ignored

Temple blessings, Crohn’s disease, faith during trials, weekly temple worship, healing, depression, family miracles, finding peace in hardship, covenant blessings, trusting God through suffering  They were already stretched thin before life began asking even more of them. Cameron and Amanda were raising children, navigating foster care, building a home with their own hands, and trying to hold together a family under the relentless pressure of illness, financial strain, emotional exhaustion, and the lingering heaviness of the COVID years.  Amanda’s Crohn’s disease never truly disappeared. Some seasons were manageable. Others left her weak, discouraged, and wondering how much longer she could keep carrying everything life demanded of her. Then came a quiet impression that made no practical sense at all. Attend the temple weekly. The problem was that they lived far away. Gas was expensive. Time was scarce. Their health and finances were already stretched to the limit. By every earthly calculation, they simply could not afford it. But the impression came again: “You can’t afford not to.” What followed was not a perfect ending or a life suddenly free from pain. Amanda still faces ongoing health struggles. There were still hospital stays, difficult days, uncertainty, and prayers that seemed to take longer to answer than they hoped. But something inside their family began to change. Peace began appearing where panic used to live. Depression loosened its grip. Their marriage deepened. Sacred impressions began guiding them through parenting fears they did not know how to solve. Financial burdens eased in unexpected ways. And little by little, they discovered that miracles are not always the removal of suffering. Sometimes they are the strength to keep walking through it with God beside you. As Cameron watched the people he loved struggle, he came to a realization that changed him forever: he did not have to hold everyone together by himself. The Lord already held them. Tender, honest, and deeply hopeful, this is the story of a family discovering that faith does not always heal everything instantly—but it can steady a soul, soften a burden, and fill even the hardest seasons with unmistakable evidence that heaven has not forgotten you. 00:00 Following the Prompting to Sell Their Dream Home 06:30 When Both Spouses Receive the Same Revelation 09:09 The Beginning of Spiritual Momentum 10:09 A Prompting to Adopt from Uganda 11:09 Trading Distractions for Deeper Discipleship 13:06 Crohn's Disease and a Search for Healing 16:36 "You Can't Afford Not To" — The Call to Weekly Temple Worship 20:13 Finding Peace Instead of Immediate Answers 22:34 Temple Blessings During Health and Financial Trials 28:57 Praying for a Daughter Who Left the Church 33:49 How the Temple Helped Bring Her Back 37:31 Learning to Trust the Lord's Timing 42:55 Promised Temple Blessings from President Nelson 45:52 Trusting God When Miracles Are Delayed 50:42 Advice for Those Waiting on the Lord 58:56 Why We Stay in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Shouldn’t a Temple Marriage Be Easier?

Temple marriage. Unexpected illness. Faith during suffering. Marriage trials. Caregiving. Depression. Enduring through hardship. Jesus Christ in the middle of broken expectations. This deeply emotional LDS conversation explores what happens when the life you prayed for slowly slips beyond your control—and what remains when everything else is shaken. She remembers believing life would unfold a certain way. She was young. Hopeful. Certain love would be enough. And for a while, it almost felt like it was. Then came the thing neither of them saw coming. What followed were years filled with questions no one could neatly answer. Quiet disappointments. Long nights. Pressure that slowly changed the atmosphere inside their home. The kind of suffering that doesn’t arrive all at once—but settles in little by little until you barely recognize yourself anymore. At one point, she stopped asking how to fix everything. Instead, she asked a different question. And somehow, that changed the direction of the story. This episode of Anchored is not about a perfect marriage or an instant miracle. It’s about what happens when faith becomes less about appearances and more about Jesus Christ Himself. About discovering that testimonies rooted in people can crack under pressure—but testimonies rooted in the Savior can hold through almost anything. Some miracles arrive all at once. Others unfold slowly… quietly… over years. Show Notes:  cosettesnarr.com  Cosette has written a book called Sacred Reconciliation that can be downloaded for free at that site.

Porn Doesn't Get the Final Word

Pornography addiction. Shame. Worthiness struggles. Delayed missions. Unanswered prayers. Can Jesus Christ redeem what feels broken? One Latter-day Saint’s journey begins with a question many quietly carry: Why Jesus? He grew up in a home full of faith—good parents, prayer, service, and the kind of foundation people spend a lifetime trying to build. Answers seemed to come for little things. Lost toys. Lost wallets. Small moments that felt like heaven paying attention. But beneath it all, a quieter question lingered. Why did everyone else seem to know Jesus in a way he didn't? Others spoke of Christ with certainty—with conviction that reached into their bones. He listened. Waited. Searched. Years passed. Still nothing. Then came hidden shame. A battle no one saw. The exhausting cycle of trying harder, falling harder, and wondering if God had finally grown tired of beginning again. And somewhere between unanswered prayers, delayed dreams, and a burden too heavy to carry up a hill alone, something unexpected happened. Because sometimes the thing keeping us from Christ isn't weakness. Sometimes it's believing He stopped coming after us. And sometimes the story you think is ending... is only where His ministry begins. Chapters: 00:00 Why Do We Need Jesus Christ? Zero Judgment

LDS conversion story, faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, returning to church, overcoming sin, personal revelation, feeling God’s love, judgment and grace, finding the strait path.  He always believed. Even when he wasn’t living like it. Growing up in a home shaped by divorce, change, and shifting foundations, faith was there—but so was distance. He knew what was right. He just wasn’t sure he was ready to live it. So he didn’t. Years passed in that space—somewhere between belief and behavior. Close enough to recognize the truth… but far enough to keep doing things his own way. Until one moment changed everything. It wasn’t loud.  It wasn’t forced.  It wasn’t what he expected. Just a look. A moment where he felt something he hadn’t felt before—no judgment, no condemnation… just clarity. And something deeper than that. Something that saw him for who he was—and who he could become. And suddenly, the life he was living didn’t feel the same anymore. This episode is about what happens when belief finally catches up to action. When grace interrupts your path. And when Jesus Christ meets you—not where you should be—but exactly where you are. Because sometimes the turning point isn’t dramatic. Sometimes it’s quiet. But it changes everything. When God Says No to the Life You Planned

She had done everything right. Raised in faith. Surrounded by goodness. Living a life that looked steady, strong—even enviable from the outside. But then came a moment that didn’t fit the pattern. A prayer. A decision. A “yes”… followed by a “no.” And suddenly, everything unraveled. What do you do when the answer you receive from God contradicts the life you thought you were building? When peace only comes after letting go of something you once believed was right? In this deeply personal story, she walks through the quiet wrestle of learning how God speaks—not just in answers, but in timing, in loss, in unexpected turns, and in the spaces where certainty feels just out of reach. From a broken engagement…  to a faith refined through real questions…  to discovering Jesus Christ not just as doctrine—but as someone she could actually know— this is a story about what happens when faith stops being inherited… and becomes chosen. And about how sometimes, the “no” you never wanted…  is the very thing that opens the door you were meant to walk through. 0:00 — From Knowing the Gospel to Knowing Jesus Christ 3:02 — Born in the Covenant & Learning the Gift to Believe 4:02 — “How Do I Stay?” in the Church of Jesus Christ 5:42 — A 12-Year-Old Testimony Seed 8:03 — Watching a Faithful Mother Fight Through a Faith Crisis 10:42 — Learning to Accept God’s “No” Answers 12:18 — When Prayer Changed an Engagement 13:33 — Peace After Heartbreak & Trusting God’s Plan 16:28 — The Book of Mormon Changed Everything 18:47 — Starting the Book of Mormon Over After President Hinckley’s Invitation 20:09 — Building Holy Habits Through Imperfect Effort 22:10 — From Doing the Gospel to Knowing Jesus Christ 23:37 — No Longer Afraid to Be in the Savior’s Presence 27:05 — Letting Go of Control & Trusting Grace 35:47 — God Is Still in Charge When Life Hurts 37:50 — Why God’s “No” Opens Better Doors 44:48 — The Temple Changed Me Slowly 51:42 — Living Spirit-Led Without Overthinking Revelation 54:43 — Why I Choose to Stay in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 56:26 — Loving Others Instead of Trying to Fix Them
