    Peter Poole joined his father, John. in helping Temecula, Ca, in Riverside County, 25 miles from the Pacific Ocean. to become a very popular wine destination. In what certainly can be considered a semi-desert terror, Peter's years as a well-respected vineyardist gives him a unique perspective on grape - growing as the climate changes. After receiving and offer to sell his vineyards that his siblings couldn't refuse, he created a viticulture depart at San Jacinto College Mt. San Jacinto College near Hemet, Ca.  He's now a Professor Emeritus, retired, but still consulting.
