🎙️ Burned Out But Still Burning -Episode 6: The Ministry of Rest and the Myth of “Strong Enough”

🎙️ Episode 6: The Ministry of Rest and the Myth of “Strong Enough” Welcome back to #Hale4Health: The Health Evangelist. This week, we’re challenging one of the deepest lies many believers carry: that rest is weakness. In truth, rest is ministry. It is trust. It is warfare. It is declaring that God is still on the throne, even when we are still. ✨ Core Scriptures 📖 Exodus 20:9–10 — Rest is built into the rhythm of creation. 📖 Mark 6:31 — Even Jesus told His disciples to step away and recover. 📖 Hebrews 4:9–11 — There remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 🔥 The Myth of “Strong Enough” Burnout doesn’t always come from being weak. It comes from carrying too much for too long. Signs you’re believing the myth: ✅ You say “yes” because you’re afraid of looking lazy. ✅ You keep moving because rest feels like failure. ✅ You don’t even know what “enough” feels like anymore. 💬 Truth to hold: You don’t have to prove your strength. God already designed rest into the rhythm of your life. 🙌 Jesus and Rest Took naps during stormsWithdrew from crowds to be with the FatherInvited the weary: “Come to me… I will give you rest.”If Jesus needed rest for ministry, why would we think we can run on empty? 🛡️ Rest as Warfare Rest isn’t selfish. It is spiritual resistance. It is saying: “I trust God more than my hustle. He holds the world together, not me.” 🎧 Reflection Prompts (Journal Time) ✍️ What do I fear will happen if I stop moving? ✍️ Where am I carrying a burden God never gave me? ✍️ What do I think I still have to prove, and to whom? ✍️ Where have I confused productivity with purpose? 🙏 Prayer: Laying Down the Weight “God, I have been carrying too much for too long. I repent for the ways I have idolized work and feared stillness. I confess I have measured my value by what I do instead of who I am in You. Help me step into true rest, the kind You modeled and the kind You promised. I choose the better portion, like Mary, at Your feet. Amen.” 💎 Weekly Declaration “I am not my performance. I do not have to earn my rest. Rest is holy, and I receive it. I am not holding the world together. God is. I lay down the myth of ‘strong enough’ and rise in the strength of the Spirit.” 🔔 Closing Beloved, rest is not the end of your story. It is the beginning of a new one. Burnout happens when we try to burn for God without resting in God. But when you embrace rest, your fire does not die out. It is sustained. 🎙️ Burned Out But Still Burning - Episode 5: The Lost Name: Rediscovering Who You Are Beyond What You Do

🎙️ Episode 5: The Lost Name - Rediscovering Who You Are Beyond What You Do Welcome back to #Hale4Health: The Health Evangelist. If burnout has left you asking “Who even am I anymore?” this episode is a sacred pause to remember your name. Your true name. The one Heaven has always spoken over you. ✨ Core Scriptures 📖 Isaiah 43:1 “I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” 📖 Revelation 2:17 A new name engraved that only you and God will know. 📖 Luke 10:20 Rejoice your name is written in Heaven. 🔥 What Burnout Steals Burnout can take your: ✅ Energy ✅ Passion ✅ Clarity ✅ Sense of self But it can never take the name God gave you. 💡 Your Identity Is Not… ❌ Your job title ❌ Your relationship status ❌ Your productivity ❌ Your trauma ❌ Your achievements or failures ✅ Your identity is: Beloved. Called. Sealed. Named. 💬 Reflection + Journal Prompts Ask yourself: ✍️ When did I last feel like me? ✍️ What was I doing that made me feel fully alive in God’s presence? ✍️ What lie did I start believing about my worth? Journal with God: 🎧 “The voice I hear most often about my identity is…?” 🎧 “God, what name do You call me that I’ve forgotten?” 🕊️ Spiritual Principle God knows your name, not just your need. He didn’t die for your output, ...He died for you. The enemy calls you by your sin. God calls you by your name. 🌿 Mini Devotional Thought In the Garden, He called Adam by name. At the tomb, Jesus called Mary by name. Even now, He’s whispering yours. 🙏 Prayer to Reclaim Identity “God, I feel lost in all the things I do. I’ve served, helped, built, performed, and poured out, but somewhere, I misplaced my name. Call me back to You. Remind me who I was before burnout, and even more — who I am in You now. I renounce every false label. I reclaim my name. I am Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” 💎 Weekly Declaration “I am not what I do. I am not what I’ve lost. I am called by name. I am God’s own. My identity is intact. My soul remembers who I am. Heaven has never forgotten me.” 🔔 Closing Beloved, you don’t have to rebuild your identity from scratch ... you just need to return to the name God already gave you. 🎙️ Burned Out But Still Burning - Episode 3: The Holy No: Boundaries that Protect Your Flame

You weren’t called to burn out... you were called to burn bright. But to do that, you need boundaries. In this episode, we confront the guilt, pressure, and people-pleasing that keep you spiritually overextended and emotionally depleted. This isn’t about selfishness. It’s about sacred stewardship. Jesus Himself withdrew often. He said no. He walked away from crowds. And He did it all without shame, because protecting the mission meant protecting the vessel. We’ll uncover the spiritual power of a “holy no” — the kind that honors your purpose, guards your peace, and keeps the fire of God in your life from being smothered by demand. 🛡️ Inside this episode: Why boundaries are biblical, not rebelliousThe difference between avoidance and obedienceHow to say no without apology and with authorityA Holy Spirit–led prayer to release guiltA declaration to reclaim your time, energy, and focusIf you’re tired of overgiving, overstretching, and overriding your own capacity in the name of “being good,” this episode is your permission slip from heaven. You are not called to everything. You are called to what God assigned. And your “no” is holy when it makes space for His “yes.” 🎧 Try this: Ask God, “Where have I been saying yes when You didn’t ask me to?” 🎧 Try this: List your top 3 assignments from God in this season. If it doesn’t serve one of those, it might deserve a no. 🎧 Try this: Practice one boundary out loud this week — even if it’s small. Prayer for Healthy Boundaries “Father, I give You permission to edit my life. Show me where I’m overextended, overcommitted, and overstimulated. Give me the courage to say no ....without guilt. Help me honor what You’ve called me to ...not what people expect. And protect my heart as I learn to guard the flame You placed in me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.” Declaration Over Your Week “I do not have to be everything to everyone. I release guilt and grab grace. My ‘no’ is holy when it honors God’s best. I am led by purpose — not pressure.”

You’ll walk away with practical, Spirit-led rhythms to reclaim your peace, honor your design, and reset your soul — not by doing more, but by receiving what God already finished. 🕊️ Inside this episode: Why God makes you lie down (and why that’s good news)What to do when performance has replaced presenceHow to build a Sabbath rhythm that refuels, not restrictsA prophetic prayer for healing from hustleA power declaration to reset your weekWhether you’re in the ashes or learning to rise, this episode will breathe life into your bones and remind you: You’re not broken — you’re being rebuilt.
