Glimpses of Jesus is a 60 episode journey through the Old Testament. A journey where we will stop and look at the main events. We want to examine them and see what happened. Yet, in each episode the intention is to look for the thread of Jesus and God’s great rescue mission through him. The thread that runs throughout the Old Testament. This is an ancient book, but not just for the past. It’s a book that impacts our present and our future. It’s a book that directs us to Jesus and hope and salvation in him.

    5.7 God vs. Impossible!

    Iron sinks, armies attack, fear sets in – but God is enough for every impossible situation! This episode looks at 2 Kings 6. It’s part of our Glimpses of Jesus series; a series of podcasts that examine the main events in the Old Testament and look at how they point us to Jesus and salvation in him.     5.6 Salvation for anyone!

    A war hero, a slave girl and a river. How do they show that salvation is for anyone? This episode looks at 2 Kings 5.     Run down? Overwhelmed? Discouragement is real, but so’s God’s care. Lean on him and find hope! This episode looks at 1 Kings 19.     God’s word is more than a message! Will we value it? Will we listen to it? Will we build our life on it? This episode looks at 1 Kings 17.
