How to Actually Rewire an Anxious Brain

Healing from trauma, anxiety, and emotional pain is possible. Soul care and self care are not the same thing. Soul care is spiritual and primary. It is the work God does inside of us through His Word and the Holy Spirit. Self care is practical and secondary. It includes tools from counseling and psychology that help us regulate emotions, manage stress, and build healthier habits. When the two work together, transformation becomes possible. The four soul care practices covered in this message include gratitude, prayer, positive thinking, and renewing the mind. Gratitude is more than a feel-good habit. Science confirms it triggers the release of dopamine and serotonin, reducing cortisol and rewiring the brain toward emotional stability.
