    Monticello Utah Temple

The Monticello Utah temple is the first of a new generation, President Hinckley announced in October 1997 the plan to flood the earth with small temples that could be built quickly and efficiently with all the necessary rooms and ordinances. This is a huge blessing to members living far from big cities and big temples. The Monticello temple was busy from the beginning, in the first 3 months almost 60 thousand ordinances were completed, and the temple was enlarged from 7,000 sq ft to 11,000 sq ft. Hong Kong China Temple

The Hong Kong China Temple has an amazing story! President Hinckley was very aware of the members in that area of the world and wanted to get a temple built before the Chinese Government took back control of Hong Kong, so he worked very hard and was inspired to build the temple where it is. It is also extremely beautiful, we are grateful to have pictures of the inside because it recently underwent renovation. Check out the pictures and enjoy this episode!
