(Which I have jokingly referred to as Barbault’s coffin in the title because I thought it was a silly and somewhat true correspondence)! To be honest with you friends, I’m not so interested in surgically examining the exact aspects of this configuration. As I sense the energy in the collective field and lean back into my Ancestors, there’s a real sense of a need to FEEL our way through this, rather than think or intellectualize. So much of what’s happening is subliminal; tectonic plates shifting beneath our feet, our animal bodies sensing the undercurrents of change emerging. The sense has been; stay present, curious, open — and try not to collapse into the stress of so much energy flooding the collective at once. Against vignettes of smoky skies and ecological disruption, I cannot help but feel like the impacts of this Astrology are occurring right before our very eyes. The invitation is not to look at all the Fire in the skies and on Earth to say “well, I guess this is how it is”, but to allow those conditions to mobilize us into more conscious participation. What is our responsibility amidst all of this, as Ancestors ourselves? Perhaps that is just my own daily locus of curiosity, but I can’t help but feel like the true change must first occur within, for any of its impacts to be expressed outside of us, too. My own personal take: Feel your F*cking Feelings. Let yourself actually be moved by this moment. Do not go numb in the overwhelm. Disassociating on instagram due to the overwhelm of ecological grief is not going to be very helpful. Most importantly, find ways to effectively channel all the BIG emotion that is most likely moving through your animal body into something that can help it transform. The only way is through.
