“Sin in the House”

Grace at the Table

God Builds the House

“God’s Timing, Not Ours”

When God Turns the Page

Today we are in 1 Samuel 31 and 2 Samuel 1. These chapters close 1 Samuel with the tragic death of Saul and open 2 Samuel with David mourning Saul and Jonathan. The old kingdom is collapsing, but God’s purpose is still moving forward. The simple truth is this: God’s plan continues, but disobedience still leaves sorrow behind. “Strengthened to Recover

1 Samuel 29-30 show God protecting David from a bad situation and then strengthening him after a painful loss. “When God Is Silent”
