What if the most powerful thing you could offer someone wasn't a transformation, but simply a space to exhale? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Angilina Stylianou, Holistic Coach, Reiki Master Teacher, Cacao Facilitator, and Founder of Retreat at the Mill. Through wellbeing events, holistic therapies, cacao ceremonies, and community spaces, her work is built around one core intention: helping people step out of stress, overwhelm, and fight-or-flight mode and reconnect with themselves, sometimes for the very first time. Retreat at the Mill opened its doors in August 2024, and it came from something deeply personal. Angilina describes watching people walk through the archway into the space and visibly exhale, their shoulders dropping, their bodies relaxing, almost without them realising it. That moment is not accidental. It is the whole point. She built the retreat because she never had that feeling of safety growing up, and she wanted to create somewhere with no judgement, no whispers, no performance required. Just a community of people who are allowed to be exactly where they are 😊. Her own path to this work was far from linear. Growing up with divorced parents, lots of back-and-forth, and a deep sense of insecurity about herself and other people, Angilina spent years not feeling seen or safe. She describes a period eight years ago when she was barely leaving the house, managing her mental health with medication and self-medication, and carrying a diagnosis she hadn't even told her family about. When she discovered cacao circles and guided meditation, something shifted. But she quickly realised the medicine itself meant nothing if the environment didn't hold people first. That insight became Retreat at the Mill. In this episode, we explore: ➤ Why Angilina believes you can't promise someone healing, and what she offers instead that actually creates the conditions for real change ➤ The moment she realised environment matters as much as modality, and how she started building spaces before she had a building of her own ➤ Who comes through the door at the Mill, from McMillan nurses to stroke survivors, and why she says it's never about demographic ➤ What genuine transformation looks like over time, including a client who found her way to her dream job through two years of cacao, Reiki, and circle work This episode is for anyone who has ever felt like they don't quite belong anywhere, or who is quietly looking for a space where they can stop performing and just be .
