Jenny Elinora: Why Joy Is a Choice You Make Every Single Day

What if joy isn't something you earn at the end of the week, but something you choose right now, in the middle of the ordinary? I'm joined today by Jenny Elinora, JOY Weaver and Visionary Creatrix of the Everyday JOY™ System. Jenny helps women, particularly those navigating transitions like divorce, career change, or midlife reinvention, move out of perfectionism, fear, and self-doubt and into play, soul-deep expression, and genuine freedom. Her work is rooted in a deceptively simple but profound idea: joy isn't a destination or a reward. It's a daily practice, woven into the ordinary moments, the caregiving, the work, the responsibilities, all of it. And when you start doing that consistently, even in tiny ways, something shifts in your nervous system, your creativity, and your whole sense of self. Jenny's own journey to this work is one I found deeply moving. She spent much of her life disconnected from her own creative voice, until at 33 she finally started writing her own music, and a little flourishing began. It was the loss of her mother in 2019 that catalysed something bigger. Out of that grief, she found her whole voice, releasing solo albums, creating her own art, and eventually building the business and the system she now shares with others. She was 50 when that particular chapter opened. She's living proof that creative wholeness doesn't have an expiry date 😊. One client arrived having written, and abandoned, the same book for 40 years. Through their work together, she finished it within a year. In this episode we explore: ➤ Why weaving joy into your daily life matters more than saving it for the weekend, and what it does to your nervous system over time ➤ What becomes possible when women stop carrying guilt about being themselves, and start following their own creative impulse ➤ Why joy is a choice, not a feeling you wait for, and what that means in the middle of real life pressures This episode is for any woman who knows she's been deferring her own joy, and is ready to weave it back in, starting today. Bella St John: Redefining Success from the Inside Out

What if success isn't about doing more, but about finally asking what you actually want? I'm joined today by Bella St John, Chief Manifestation Officer and Business Coach, who helps coaches, consultants, and organisations break through the patterns keeping them stuck and build businesses that genuinely light them up. Her tagline is "Success Redefined," and the more she talked, the more I realised she actually lives it. Bella's approach sits at a fascinating crossroads of human-centred AI, deep mindset work, and a lifetime of researching what makes people tick. She's not interested in cookie-cutter playbooks or band-aids on the surface. She gets underneath the behaviour, the systems, the plateau, to find what's really going on and what her clients genuinely want instead. What struck me most in this conversation is how much of her work comes from lived experience. Bella has navigated a challenging upbringing, reinvented herself multiple times, spent almost a decade travelling solo across Europe with significant mobility challenges, and has just recently landed somewhere she describes, for the first time in her life, as truly home. Her story is rich with those pivot moments where the question "now what?" becomes the beginning of something extraordinary. In this episode we explore: ➤ What "human-centred AI" actually means, and why the question isn't how to use the tools but how to use them in a way that better supports the humans in your organisation ➤ The difference between focusing on the problem and focusing on the solution, and why one keeps you vibrating at the frequency of what's not working ➤ Why "trying" might be the thing that's holding you back, and what the shift to doing actually looks and feels like ➤ What it takes to move from plateau to breakthrough, and why the real work is always about identity first, strategy second ➤ How everything in your life can work for you rather than against you, if only you choose to use it that way This episode is for coaches and business owners who know they're capable of more, but feel like something invisible keeps getting in the way. Yvonne Hayes: The Little Changes That Make the Biggest Difference

What if reaching your full potential doesn't require a dramatic overhaul, just one small, consistent tweak? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Yvonne Hayes, Lifestyle and Wellness Coach, who helps people in their 30s to 60s look after themselves more, feel their best, and create additional income that fits around their lives, without the overwhelm. Yvonne's background is in education and training, and that foundation runs through everything she does. Her belief is simple: we're never the finished article. We can always grow, always improve, always reach a little further. But her path to wellness coaching didn't start with a grand plan. It started with IBS, exhaustion, and a plant she was deeply sceptical about. Suffering for years with digestive issues that nothing seemed to touch, Yvonne agreed to try aloe vera for 60 days, purely because of the money-back guarantee. By day 40, she felt better than she had in decades. The cramps were gone. Her energy was back. Her clarity returned. She forgot to take it on holiday, went back to square one within a week, and that was the moment she understood something important: it wasn't a cure. It was a daily practice. A small, consistent habit that changed everything 😌. She sat on that experience as a happy customer for years. Then COVID arrived, she decided she wasn't returning to the grey office with the breeze block walls, and she started sharing her story. Now she has a growing team, loyal customers, and a business that funds several holidays a year while taking no more than 30 to 60 minutes of her day. In this episode, we explore: ➤ Why small tweaks consistently outperform big transformations, and how one daily habit shifted Yvonne's health, energy, and entire trajectory ➤ The gut health and mental clarity connection, and why sorting your physical foundation tends to open doors to everything else ➤ What it looks like to build a secondary income that genuinely fits into the nooks and crannies of your life, without trading time you don't have ➤ The parenting thread that runs through all of Yvonne's work, and why the smallest language shifts can change the atmosphere in your home with a teenager ➤ Why most people are stuck not because change is hard, but because they're not open to it, and what shifts when you let go of the idea that you have to stay with your lot This episode is for anyone who's been quietly waiting for the right moment to make a change, and wondering if a small step could actually be enough to start. Anne Marie McElroy: When Success Feels Empty and Your Body Knows Why

What if the biggest thing holding you back in business isn't your strategy, but something your body has been carrying all along? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Anne Marie McElroy, Transformational Coach and Director, specialising in intuitive psychology, nervous system regulation, and deep identity shifts for women ready to break patterns and step into the next level of their life and business. Anne Marie brings a fascinatingly layered perspective to this work. She has spent 20 years running a high-end luxury bridal business, working intimately with women through one of the most emotionally charged seasons of their lives. What she kept noticing, year after year, was that looking beautiful on the outside didn't resolve what was happening underneath. That curiosity led her deeper, through Reiki, Dr Joe Dispenza, somatic practices, and eventually to qualifying as a Master Intuitive Psychology Coach. What I love about how she describes her work is this: what a client thinks is holding them back often isn't the real thing at all. Because trauma lives in the body, not in the story we tell ourselves about it 😌. In this episode, we explore: ➤ Why transformation starts in the body, not in the mind, and how working from root values upward creates lasting change ➤ Why slowing down is the most underrated business strategy, and what it actually means to check in with your nervous system before making decisions ➤ What Anne Marie's clients experience when the real shift happens, from rebuilding entire businesses to transforming health, relationships, and confidence ➤ Why journaling works when you stop trying to think your way through it, and how your subconscious speaks through the pen in ways your logical mind can't access This episode is for any business owner who has tried all the strategies but still feels like something unseen is in the way. Your body might already know what your mind hasn't caught up to yet. Sonia Davies: The Sacred Success Code for Brilliant Business Owners Who Are Ready to Go Bigger

What if the dream you've been holding isn't wishful thinking, but a future timeline that already exists and is waiting for you to claim it? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Sonia Davies, Spiritual Strategist. Sonia helps brilliant business owners move beyond what they currently believe they're capable of and create the limitless dream life they've always wanted. She is on a mission to make the world a happier place, one joyful person at a time. Sonia's path to this work wasn't linear. After years as part of the senior leadership team in adult social care, she hit burnout so profound it took five months away from work to recover. What she discovered during that time changed everything: she hadn't burned out because of the job itself. She'd burned out from decades of squashing herself to fit other people's expectations. A single epiphany moment in a coaching session later, she knew exactly what she was meant to do next. What she didn't anticipate was that following that calling would also mean finally letting her lifelong spiritual side come out into the open. Now she blends therapeutic coaching, energy healing, Akashic Records work, somatic practice, nervous system support, and strategic business thinking into a framework she calls the Sacred Success Code. What makes her process so distinctive is the speed. By working directly in the Akashic Records and across multiple dimensions of a person's experience, including past lifetimes, ancestral patterns, collective trauma, and present-day psychology, Sonia compresses transformation in a way that her clients consistently describe as both instant and lasting. In this episode, we explore: ➤ What it actually means to be a Spiritual Strategist, and how blending therapeutic coaching, energy healing, Akashic Records work, and business strategy creates transformation that sticks ➤ Why your dream isn't really a dream, it's a future timeline that already exists, and the only thing standing between you and it is the belief that it's not possible ➤ The patterns that keep brilliant, spiritually-aware people stuck, from childhood conditioning and ancestral trauma to collective energies and karmic cycles This episode is for the action taker with a big soul mission who knows there is more, but can't quite get hold of what's standing in the way 😌. Rachel Fowler: How Theatre, Neuroscience, and Creativity Are Changing the Way We Grieve

What if the most loving thing you could do, for yourself or for someone else in pain, is simply to stop trying to fix it? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Rachel Fowler, Grief and Loss Coach, Neurotransformational Coach and storyteller. Whether as an actor, director, writer, or coach, Rachel celebrates human stories and the power they have to heal, reveal hidden truths, and transform. She is passionate about making the world more grief-literate and more compassionate, both towards ourselves and each other. Rachel came to grief work through loss that arrived fast and without warning. A year after moving to London from a busy theatre career in the US, her 13-year-old nephew died of a drug overdose. She was new to the city. Her community was an ocean away. And she noticed something she couldn't stop thinking about: people would cross the street rather than face her. Not out of cruelty, but because they didn't know what to say. That realisation became a calling. We have to do better at this. What makes Rachel's approach so distinctive is the way she weaves neuroscience and creativity together. She draws on the work of neuroscientist Mary Frances O'Connor, whose research shows that grieving isn't just an emotion, it's a learning process. Your brain literally has to rewire to accommodate a loss that has been intrinsic to your survival and your identity. That takes enormous energy. It takes time. And it takes far more compassion than our productivity-obsessed culture tends to allow. Rachel also talks about the role of art in healing, specifically how stories and film create just enough distance for people to open up. To feel things that feel too big to face head-on. It's not avoidance, it's a window. And through that window, real processing can begin. In this episode, we explore: ➤ Why grief comes from endings, not just death, and who actually shows up to work with Rachel, including people anticipating loss, not just living through it ➤ What happens in your brain and body when you suppress emotion, and why that suppression is one of the most costly things you can do to your health ➤ How creativity and imagination unlock healing, and why accessing joy solely for your own pleasure is not self-indulgence, it's neuroscience ➤ The rupture between grief and identity, and how Rachel helps people answer the question: who am I now that this person is gone? ➤ The three words that might just be the meaning of life: sit in the discomfort This episode is for anyone who is carrying grief quietly, anyone who has ever crossed the street to avoid someone in pain, and anyone ready to stop fixing and start feeling 😊. Helen O'Neill: The Book Coach for Coaches Who Are Ready to Actually Do It

You've thought about writing a book. But do you actually know what kind of book you want to write, and why? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Helen O'Neill, Portfolio Career Specialist, Author and Founder of CoachWrite, where she helps professional coaches turn their expertise into published pages. Helen has published four books of her own, with a fifth on resilience on the way, and she's built what she believes is the only writing and publishing support space specifically designed for coaches. Helen didn't set out to become a book coach. After 25 years in senior corporate roles she pivoted into coaching, began writing personal development books alongside her new business, and found that coaches kept asking her the same question: I want to write a book, but I don't know how. CoachWrite was born from that gap. What I love about this conversation is how practical and honest Helen is about the whole process. She immediately distinguishes between three very different publishing paths, traditional, self-publishing, and independent publishing, and makes clear that none of them is better than the others. What matters is knowing your goal before you write a single word. Are you building legacy? Positioning yourself as a thought leader? Creating a business asset that generates royalties and speaking opportunities for years? The answer shapes everything 😊. We also get into the AI question, because of course we do. Helen's take is refreshingly nuanced. Use it for structural editing, use it for the grammar bits. But your opinion, your connection with your reader, that's the thing AI genuinely cannot replicate. And in a world where we're all starting to scroll past the copy-pasted content because we can spot it instantly, that distinction matters more than ever. In this episode, we explore: ➤ The three publishing paths and what each one is actually for, so you can choose the right one before you invest a single hour of writing time ➤ What separates coaches who write the book from those who just talk about it, and the mindset work that happens before the first page ➤ How to use AI ethically in your writing process, and why copying and pasting is the fastest way to devalue your thought leadership ➤ Why your opinion is your most valuable asset, and what long-form content can do for your authority that a social post never can This episode is for any coach who's been carrying a book idea for longer than feels comfortable, and is finally ready to understand what writing it would actually take 😌. Suzanne Scott: What Happens When You Stop Parenting from Fear

What if the behaviour you're trying to fix isn't actually the problem? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Suzanne Scott, Author and CEO of Trauma Informed Parenting, a fully-funded SCVO charity supporting parents and caregivers of children with trauma or neurodivergence. Suzanne is the author of Trauma-Informed Parenting in Action and a champion for breaking generational cycles of stress and fear in families across the UK and beyond. Suzanne came to this work not as a researcher or clinician, but as a mum and foster carer in Glasgow who stumbled across a model that quite literally changed her household. The model she learned asked her to step away from fear and control, the things society has passed down through generations, and move towards calm, connection, compassion, and curiosity. Her first reaction...there is no way that is going to work. But it did. Almost immediately, her foster child's meltdowns reduced. And then something she hadn't expected: her own daughter changed too. Because when Suzanne changed, everything shifted. As she puts it, her children were feeding off her energy. She was living in overwhelming stress and fear, and so were they. Now seven years on, Suzanne delivers workshops online and in person to families all over the world, sharing lived experience alongside the neuroscience of why this approach works, and why everything we instinctively do in a moment of conflict is actually making things worse. In this episode, we explore: ➤ Why the behaviour is never actually the problem, and what's really happening in a child's brain during a meltdown that makes discipline in that moment completely pointless ➤ The pause that changes everything, how learning to breathe, regulate yourself, and simply not add more stress is a more powerful parenting tool than any consequence ➤ The rupture and repair cycle, why getting it wrong and coming back is not just okay, it's where the most profound bonding and learning actually happens ➤ The generational snowball, how unresolved trauma from wars, lockdown, and our own childhoods is showing up in today's kids, and what we can start doing about it right now This episode is for any parent, carer, or practitioner who's exhausted from trying to manage the behaviour, and ready to understand what's underneath it 😊.
