Moms - you are a Minister!

Momma, what if the very thing frustrating you about your child is actually a God-given strength that simply hasn't been directed toward its true purpose yet? Too often, we find ourselves speaking what we see. We label the attitudes, rehearse the struggles, and continually call attention to the behaviors we want to change. But what if God is calling us to minister to our children instead of simply managing their behavior? In this powerful episode of The Intentional Momma Podcast, we're talking about stepping into our God-given role as moms who speak life, truth, and identity over the children entrusted to us. The world may define our children by their attitudes, emotions, mistakes, or personalities. But God's Word reveals something far greater! Instead of agreeing with what the flesh is displaying, we can intentionally agree with what God says is true. We can recognize the gifts He's placed within our children, call those gifts into their intended purpose, and teach our kids to see themselves through the truth of His Word. This doesn't mean ignoring wrong behavior. It means addressing it from the perspective of who God created them to be, rather than allowing their behavior to define who they are. That stubborn child? What if God created them to be unshakable in faith? That outspoken child? What if they're called to boldly proclaim His truth? That strong-willed little one? What if you're looking at a future leader who simply needs to discover who God created them to be? Momma, your words matter. Your perspective matters. And the way you speak to your children today can help shape how they see themselves tomorrow. Stop simply describing what you see. Start declaring what God says! You aren't just a mom trying to raise well-behaved children. You are a minister of the gospel right inside your own home, helping raise a generation that knows who they are in Christ and walks boldly in everything God created them to be. It's time for moms who minister! Grab your coffee and lean in, because this episode will encourage, challenge, and refresh you. The Kingdom Work Few Applaud

What if the greatest thing you ever accomplish for the Kingdom of God never comes with a paycheck, a promotion, a platform, or applause? So many of us have learned to measure our worth by what we accomplish outside the walls of our homes. The recognition. The achievements. The people we influence. The things we can point to and say, "Look what I did!" And then there's motherhood. The laundry. The meals. The interruptions. The conversations nobody else hears. The prayers whispered over sleeping children. The seemingly ordinary moments that rarely receive recognition. But Momma, what if some of your greatest Kingdom work is happening in the very place the world has taught you to overlook? In this encouraging episode of The Intentional Momma Podcast, we're challenging the world's definition of significance and rediscovering the extraordinary assignment God has placed right inside our homes. What if you're not simply raising children, but raising valiant, unshakable warriors for Christ? Sons and daughters who know their God, recognize His voice, stand boldly on His Word, and expect His supernatural power to be at work in their everyday lives? And what if they live that way because they watched YOU live that way first? They saw you believe when circumstances said otherwise. They watched you pray, obey, forgive, and trust. They witnessed the faithfulness of God in the ordinary rhythms of family life. Momma, don't underestimate what God is accomplishing through your faithfulness in the unseen places. You aren't just raising children to survive this world. You're raising a generation equipped to bring the realities of Heaven into it. And that is no small assignment. So before you measure your day by everything you didn't accomplish, consider what God may be accomplishing through you. Your home isn't holding you back from Kingdom work. It may be one of the most powerful places He's called you to do it. Grab your coffee and lean in, because this episode will encourage, challenge, and refresh you. Seeing the Fruit in your Family

What kind of fruit is growing in your home? As moms, it can be easy to focus on behavior. Be kind. Have patience. Stop fighting. Use self-control. Choose joy. But the Bible doesn't call these the fruit of good parenting or the fruit of trying harder. They are the fruit of the Spirit. In this episode of The Intentional Momma Podcast, Kate shares a teaching inspired by a segment from the upcoming Feed My Lambs devotional about intentionally creating a home where the fruit of the Spirit can grow and flourish. Instead of simply correcting the bad fruit we see, what if we helped our children recognize the Source of good fruit within them? We're talking about how to encourage love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—not as a checklist of behaviors our children have to perform, but as evidence of a life increasingly yielded to the Holy Spirit. And Momma, this starts with us. Our children are watching how we respond when plans change, when patience runs thin, when someone hurts us, and when life doesn't go the way we expected. Everyday family life gives us countless opportunities to demonstrate what it looks like to walk by the Spirit. You don't need a perfect home to grow good fruit. Grab your coffee and lean in, because this episode will encourage, challenge, and refresh you. When your power is not enough

God never asked us to manufacture power, force outcomes, or carry His assignments in our own strength. He invited us to abide in Him—and from that place, walk in the authority He has already given. In this episode, we talk about the difference between striving to make something happen and moving from relationship, alignment, and delegated authority. Jesus Himself modeled this perfectly: He did what He saw the Father doing, spoke what He heard the Father saying, and ministered from complete dependence on Him. The same is true for us. Authority isn’t about proving what we can do. It’s about knowing Who we represent. Whether we are leading our children, ministering to others, praying for the sick, confronting darkness, or simply navigating everyday life, we were never meant to rely on our own ability. There is freedom in realizing: it’s not my power, and it’s not my right—it’s His authority working through a surrendered life. Relationship before responsibility. Communion before commission. Submission before authority. Stop striving to become powerful and start abiding in the One who possesses all authority. His power. His authority. His Kingdom—working through us. Grab your coffee and lean in, because this episode will encourage, challenge, and refresh you.
