Paul's Principles Applied Today Kathryn Kuhlman 1 Corinthians Part 13

Kathryn Kuhlman teaches on "worldliness" out of 1 Corinthians 8:1. Kathryn takes the principles from this verse and applies it to clothing and freedom. Today's scriptures include: 1 Corinthians 8:1 "Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies." Acts 17:22-25 "Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, "Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very religious; for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you: God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things." How to use Freedom Kathryn Kuhlman 1 Corinthians Series Part 12

Today Kathryn Kuhlman finishes looking at 1 Corinthians chapter 6. Today's scriptures include: 1 Corinthians 6:12-15 "All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "THE TWO," He says, "SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH." Galatians 5:13 "For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another." 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 1 Corinthjians 6:20 "For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." 1 Thessalonians 5:23 "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." "Remember to Whom You Belong!" Kathryn Kuhlman 1 Corinthians Series Part 10

Kathryn Kuhlman continues teaching out of 1 Corinthians Chapter 6. She gives a good overview of the Chapter and emphasizes that we are saints and belong to God. Some of the scriptures she uses are below. Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 1 Corinthians 6:1-11 "Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge? I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren? But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers! Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated? No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren! Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." Romans 8:17 "and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together." Paul Attacks Spiritual Pride Kathryn Kuhlman 1 Corinthians Series Part 8

Kathryn Kuhlman teaches out of 1 Corinthians 3 and 4. Her main scripture is 1 Corinthians 4:8-12. That scripture and some others she uses are below. 1 Corinthians 4:8-12 "You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us—and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you! For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored! To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless. And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure;" 1 Corinthians 3:5-7 "Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase." Zechariah 4:6 "So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts." Isaiah 53:5 "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." "Spiritual and Carnal: Part 2" Kathryn Kuhlman 1 Corinthians Series Part 7

Kathryn Kuhlman continues teaching on the spiritual man and the carnal man from 1 Corinthians 3:1-7. Some of the other scriptures she cites are quoted below. 1 Corinthians 3:1-7: "And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase." 1 Thessalonians 5:23: "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 8:5: "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit." Kathryn Kuhlman discusses these same concepts in a little series called "Body, Soul and Spirit" you can find that here on You Tube https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSMOPSA4R5IA5cat_12akuVg7GtqeUX2d&si=Go5dv26trBakEQwA The 1 Corinthians series has been published before.
