    Episode 73: The Invitation

Send us Fan Mail The Invitation | Hospitality Is More Than Hosting Hospitality is more than clean houses, perfect tables, or fancy dinners. True biblical hospitality is about making room for people the way Christ made room for us. In this episode of Las Locas Chronicles, Pastors Alexa Pineda and Jessica Fernandez talk about the power of community, creating safe spaces for people, and why hospitality reveals what’s really in our hearts. We discuss how inviting people in can bring healing, connection, discipleship, and transformation—not just for others, but for us too. From opening our homes to opening our schedules, conversations, and hearts, this episode challenges us to move beyond surface-level relationships and build authentic Christ-centered community. Because sometimes the greatest ministry starts with a simple invitation. ✨ In this episode: • The biblical meaning of hospitality • Why community matters in the Christian life • How Jesus modeled invitation and belonging • The difference between entertaining and true hospitality • Making room for people even when life is messy • Why isolation is dangerous for spiritual growth Scripture reminders: “Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” — Romans 12:13 “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers…” — Hebrews 13:2 Watch or listen every Thursday at 12PM CST on YouTube and all podcast platforms. 🎧 Listen, subscribe, and shop Las Locas merch: laslocaschronicles.com/shop #laslocaschronicles   #ChristianPodcast #Hospitality #BiblicalCommunity #ChristianWomen #FaithPodcast #WomenInMinistry #JesusCentered #ChristianEncouragement #BibleTruth #FaithInAction #ChurchCommunity #ChristianLiving #CommunityMatters #LatinaPodcast

Episode 72: Put A Little Faith Into It

Send us Fan Mail Faith was never meant to stay in our heads. Real faith moves. Real faith shows up. Real faith carries people when they cannot carry themselves. In this episode, we talk about what active faith looks like through two powerful biblical examples: • The four friends who refused to give up and carried the paralytic to Jesus, even tearing through a roof because they believed Jesus could heal him. • Aaron and Hur holding up Moses’ arms during the battle in Exodus 17, reminding us that sometimes victory comes because faithful people are willing to hold each other up when strength runs low. We discuss: • Why faith requires action • The importance of godly community and support • How obedience often requires effort, persistence, and sacrifice • Why some battles are won through unity • What it means to carry others spiritually • The difference between passive belief and active faith Sometimes faith looks like praying. Sometimes faith looks like fighting. Sometimes faith looks like holding someone else’s arms up when they are too tired to keep going. Scriptures referenced: • Mark 2:1–12 • Exodus 17:8–13 • James 2:17 • Galatians 6:2 Watch now and be encouraged to live out a faith that moves, serves, believes, and acts. Episode 67: God's Goals

Send us Fan Mail In a world that pushes you to chase goals, build platforms, and “make it happen,” what does it actually look like to surrender your plans to God? In this episode, we talk about the tension between ambition and obedience—between what you want to accomplish and what God is asking you to do right now. Because the Kingdom of God isn’t built on rushed outcomes… it’s built on daily surrender. God rarely gives the full blueprint. He gives the next step. From the fishermen going deeper at Jesus’ command, Scripture shows us that breakthrough doesn’t come from having all the answers—it comes from trusting the One who does. If you’ve been feeling stuck, frustrated, or tempted to force something to happen, this conversation will help you realign your heart and remember: ➡️ God’s will over your timeline ➡️ Obedience over outcomes ➡️ Faithfulness in the small steps leads to greater purpose Key Scriptures: Matthew 14:29 – Peter steps out of the boat Luke 5:4–5 – “Go deeper” even when it doesn’t make sense Proverbs 3:5–6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart Psalm 119:105 – His Word is a lamp to your feet In this episode, you’ll learn: Why God often leads step by step instead of all at once How to discern between your goals and God’s will What to do when obedience feels unclear or uncomfortable How to trust God even when progress feels slow Reflection Question: Are you asking God to bless your plans… or are you willing to follow His, one step at a time? Subscribe, share, and join the conversation as we pursue truth! 🎧 Listen on all podcast platforms 📺 Subscribe on YouTube:    / @laslocaschronicles   🛍️ Get merch & support the podcast: https://laslocaschronicles.com
