Tully Smyth On Why That House Makes You Gaslight Yourself | The Traitors Australia Breakdown

The Traitors Australia is two episodes in and the faithfuls are already losing their minds. Tully Smyth came in to tell me why. If you know Tully, you know her from Big Brother. The 2013 season that turned her into Hurricane Tully, and All Stars, where they put her ex boyfriend in the house with her. She thought The Traitors would be the easy one. Then day one, cameras rolling, a castmate leaned over in the car and asked what they were calling their alliance. I am Krissy Marsh. I was in that house too, as a faithful, and Tully spent the first week terrified of me. Her words, not mine. In this one we get into what the show does to your head. Why you replay one weird sentence in your room at night. Why you start gaslighting yourself about people you trusted that morning. Who each of us clocked in the first 48 hours, including the sweet one Tully told everybody not to underestimate. And the mountain. Four weeks postpartum, she talks about the moment up there that made both of us cry, and the fear she carried into motherhood. She also rates the cast's fashion crimes, defends a rainbow poncho as strategy, and plays shoot, shag or marry with the full cast list. Chapters: 00:00 The hoods come off 00:23 "I was pretty terrified of you" 01:31 Car trips and Kirby's story 01:55 The mountain, the tears, the baby 02:44 Pushed out for not being physical 03:16 "My kids call me a Karen" 03:39 Straight off a runway in Paris 04:14 Dicko and the boys' club 05:09 "I probably can't say it" 05:46 Day one reads: AJ and Claudia 07:19 Long days, snow, true colours 07:49 Moira's wigs 08:35 "Who here is the most virtuous?" 09:36 Big Brother baggage 10:45 Alliance or friendship 11:17 "You get me, girl, and you are dead" 12:07 Gaslighting yourself 13:37 Hurricane Tully 14:31 A toast, thanks to Baileys 15:11 She almost said no 16:36 Murdered for their fashion 18:05 Shoot, shag or marry 19:38 Where to watch The Traitors Watch The Traitors Australia on Channel 10 and 10play, then come back here every week for the breakdown from inside the house. Am I a Good Liar? How to Tell If Someone Is Lying to You

How do you spot a liar? A private investigator spent six months and found nothing. Krissy caught him with one $25 bank transaction.Krissy has trusted her gut her whole life. She calls it her smoke detector... where there's smoke, there's fire. It pulled her out of a taxi in Bali before the meter even started, and it is the same instinct that told her girlfriend something was off in her marriage long before there was any proof. This one is all about liars, and how to spot a liar when they are good at it. Because the frightening truth is that a good liar tells a lot of truth. Her friend's husband really was going to Canada. He really did need a break. He just never mentioned he was taking his girlfriend. A private investigator came back after six months with nothing. Then one $25 transaction to an unusual name, one Google search, and one phone call to a bar in Brisbane unravelled the whole thing.Krissy also gets into the small-lie test she raised her kids on (if someone lies about being at their mum's house, they can lie about anything!!), why decades of trust make us silence our own smoke detector, the friends who lie about the stupid stuff, double lives that DNA tests keep exposing, and the one rule that holds her family together: you get one chance to tell the truth. And she is about to play the ultimate lying game on The Traitors... consider this her warm up. Is she a good liar? You will have to watch and find out.⏱️ Chapters00:00 The smoke detector gut feel00:49 Two taxis I escaped03:55 Catching a cheating husband07:07 Why we suppress the gut feel10:20 Small lies, big liars13:03 Double lives and DNA tests16:13 The Traitors and moving on🔗 LinksWant the deeper cut?
