Eustáquio scores but leaves injured, Davies helps Bayern, Griezmann clinches MLS playoff, TFC miss

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! Big week for Canada Soccer as many of our guys shined over the week. Whether it was Tani grabbing another goal for Villarreal, Davies once again showing his versatility or Owen Goodman grabbing an ASSIST a lot to be happy with. Eustáquio helped the Swans grab a win but sadly left the pitch injured. In the MLS some playoff spots missed, some were clinched and some are still up in the air. The CPL Playoffs kicked off in fine fashion. Ottawa and Forge played out a draw while Supra beat the regular season champs, Cavalry. A lot to talk about this week! Alistair Johnston's Celtic return is halted, Alphonso Davies goes to left back, Eustáquio goes 90'

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! Episode 200 wow, crazy. It was a bit of a down weekend for our guys at club level. Of course there are still some great things worth highlighting. Like Bim Pepple and Theo Bair both finding form (and the back of the net) and Eustaquio going the full 90' for the first time since the international break. It looked to be an even better weekend as Alistair Johnston made his return sadly, he left the game with an apparent hamstring injury just 21 minutes after coming on. In the MLS, Crepeau characteristically had himself a great game; LDF also shone, while the Portland Timbers mount a late-stage playoff charge with our Canadians there playing their part. In the CPL, the playoff teams are locked, Cavalry has themselves another shield, and now it's all eyes on the North Star Cup. So Let's talk about it. Alphonso Davies scores vs Arsenal in UCL, Forge FC BEAT CF Montreal in Canadian Championship Final

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! Midweek action, and it was a big one there were trophies to be won and UCL nights to be played. Alphonso Davies grabbed himself a goal vs Arsenal while he played on the left wing, which I'm sure won't cause any debate on where he should play going forward. Villarreal also played where all 3 of Buchanan, Tani and Saliba played for the yellow submarine. Then there was the final of the Canadian Championship played between CF Montreal and Forge FC. The club from Hamilton made history as they became the first team in CPL history to win the Voyageur's Cup. An amazing moment for all involved (unless of course, you're Montreal). Let's talk about it all. Liam Millar is 7/7, Alphonso Davies gets a rest, Jonathan David is a Diego Simeone guy & more

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! Another weekend in the books for our Canadian boys and we're seeing the best of some of them. Liam Millar now has 7 goals and assists in 7 matches for Birmingham. While Larin exited his match early in England (another injury concern, it seems). In France, Russell-Rowe grabbed an absolute banger of a goal, Davies remained an unused sub for Bayern and Jonathan David continues to show he's a Diego Simeone guy. In the MLS there were some big play off results like both Orlando and TFC winning. And the CPL has set the table for a big finish. Let's talk about it. Liam Millar & Cyle Larin EFL Player of the Month, Davies logs 90, David assists, TFC beat Montreal

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! Club football is back, and we have a bit to talk about. Larin & Millar are both up for the EFL Player, while Theo Bair scored his first for Bolton in the league. Elsewhere in Europe, Alphonso Davies continues to show why he's the best left-back in the world. Jonathan David is loving Madrid, and Nathan Saliba was at the centre of a big-time call which saw Vinicius Jr grab himself a red card. In the MLS, there were some huge moments, especially for Maxime Crépeau, who made a crazy 12 saves for Orlando in a 3-2 win. While Toronto FC grabbed a last-gasp winner in their derby vs. CF Montreal. Let's talk about it all.
