    Dario Amodei called for AI development to slow down, and Sam Altman agreed within hours. Then the Fed. August core CPI came in at 0.3% against 0.2% expected, and traders now put better than 85% odds on a rate hike when the FOMC decides Wednesday at 2:00 PM ET — the first move out of the 3.50%–3.75% range since December. I give you my line for Wednesday: the one thing in the statement that flips how I'm positioned, and what I do if it isn't there. That purchase sat in the same filing as the Intel buy I covered last week — and Intel is a Bloom data center customer. One thesis, expressed twice. The argument runs like this: everyone spent 2026 calling AI a chip trade, but data centers are waiting years for grid connections, and Bloom's fuel cells deliver on-site power without the wait. Second-quarter revenue hit a record $1.07 billion, up 166 percent, with agreements signed with Oracle, Brookfield and AEP. I'd be a buyer, and I give you the price I'd actually pay.
