Becoming the Mother Your Soul Came Here to Be: Spirit Babies, Loss & Wild Motherhood with Olivia Roff

Are you a mom craving more calm, connection, and space to come home to yourself? Join me inside the Ecstatic Life Academy, a supportive community for women ready to regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with their bodies, and reclaim themselves beyond motherhood. Come dance, heal, breathe, and remember who you are. Learn more and join us today. In this episode of The Ecstatic Life Podcast, I sit down with Olivia Roff, a mystical guide for the soul and Spirit Baby Channel, for a deeply soulful conversation about motherhood as an initiation into becoming more fully ourselves. Olivia shares the story of her two miscarriages, her unexpected awakening to Spirit Babies, and the profound healing journey that ultimately led her to her soul work. We explore what it means to connect with the souls of babies before conception, how pregnancy loss can be honored as a real experience of birth and postpartum, and the ways our children can become mirrors for the parts of ourselves asking to be healed. We also dive into birth trauma, home birth, intuition, conscious conception, home education, and the process of reclaiming our inner authority as mothers. One of the ideas that stayed with me most deeply was Olivia's perspective that our children can bring us into the darkest places—not to punish us, but to invite us to come home to ourselves. We talk about the stories so many women carry around being "not enough," not being worthy of meeting their own needs, and the ways motherhood can illuminate those stories so we finally have the opportunity to heal them. This is a conversation about wild motherhood, sovereign motherhood, spiritual motherhood—and remembering that becoming the mother we desire to be often begins with becoming more deeply ourselves. If you've ever felt that your children were your greatest teachers, that motherhood was somehow asking you to become someone new, or that there was a deeper calling underneath your experience of motherhood, I think you'll find something here. Come join me in the conversation—and then ask yourself: What are my children reflecting back to me, and where are they guiding me home to my truth? Connect with Olivia: https://linktr.ee/oliviaroff  This conversation explores Olivia's spiritual beliefs and personal experiences with Spirit Babies, conception, pregnancy loss, birth, and motherhood. These perspectives are shared as spiritual frameworks and personal experiences, not as medical claims or advice.

Your Turn-On Is Your Responsibility: The Secret to a More Passionate Sex Life

If you're ready to cultivate more pleasure in your life, join my weekly ecstatic dance party in my online community: https://nicoledesireegoff.com/communities/ecstatic-life-academy What if your sex life had less to do with what happens in the bedroom and more to do with how you live your entire life? In this episode of The Ecstatic Life Podcast, I explore the radical responsibility we have to cultivate our own pleasure, sensuality, and aliveness—and how the way we experience an ordinary Tuesday can profoundly influence what happens in our intimate relationships. As mothers, it's incredibly easy to spend our days serving, managing, multitasking, and taking care of everyone else, only to arrive at the end of the day completely depleted and wonder why we're not feeling particularly turned on. But you can't spend 14 hours abandoning your body and expect it to enthusiastically show up for you at 10 PM. Nicole explores the connection between everyday pleasure and erotic desire, including: Why your partner can't be solely responsible for your turn-on How slowing down and savoring ordinary moments expands your capacity for pleasure The connection between sensuality, embodiment, playfulness, and sexuality Why childlike wonder and curiosity can actually deepen your erotic life What happens to desire after 10, 15, or 20 years with the same person How relationship fatigue can turn lovers into co-managers of a household Why self-care isn't just maintenance—it's pleasure cultivation How to meet your partner from overflow rather than depletion And how to begin living a more “turned-on” life, whether or not you're currently having sex Plus, Nicole shares a simple Pleasure Practice you can experiment with for the next week. Because an ecstatic life isn't about being happy or “high vibe” all the time. It's about being available for the experience of being alive. The Radical Practice of Gratitude When Life Is Hard

What if instead of constantly thinking “I have to,” we started remembering that we get to? In this deeply personal episode, I explore gratitude, agency, and the choice to be present for our lives—even when life is really, really hard. I’m sharing from the middle of a difficult season: I’m adopting my grandson, grieving the recent loss of my dog, and walking alongside my dad as he transitions from this life. This isn’t an episode about pretending everything is okay. It’s about discovering that grief and gratitude can exist in the same heart. I’ll share the simple practice that has been helping me stay grounded: writing down 10 things I’m grateful for every day, and how shifting from “I have to” to “I get to” can subtly—and powerfully—change the way we experience our lives. Because we can acknowledge what hurts without overlooking what is beautiful. We can be heartbroken and grateful. We can wish things were different and still be fully present for what is here. And we can remember that while we don’t get to choose everything that happens to us, we do get to choose how we meet our lives. This is your invitation to stop waiting for the perfect circumstances and start noticing the life that is already happening right now. If this episode resonated with you, you don’t have to do this work alone. 💛 Inside Ecstatic Life Academy, we practice this kind of embodied living together—nervous system healing, emotional awareness, self-care, feminine embodiment, movement, and the messy, beautiful work of coming home to yourself. Come join us. Let’s stop waiting for life to be perfect before we start fully living it. ✨ Ecstatic Life Academy: https://nicoledesireegoff.com/communities/ecstatic-life-academy

What Is Shadow Work? My Journey Through Trauma, Shame & Self-Worth

Before we dive in, here's an invitation to join me inside of my private membership for nervous system healing, embodiment and somatic practices each week. Join ELA here for only $11/month: https://nicoledesireegoff.com/communities/ecstatic-life-academy ----more----What if the parts of yourself you've spent a lifetime trying to hide are actually the parts most longing to be loved? After returning from a transformative seven-day retreat, I'm sharing one of the deepest healing experiences of my life. In this episode, we're exploring the world of shadow work—not as something mystical or intimidating, but as a practical pathway toward greater freedom, wholeness, and self-love. I open up about the childhood beliefs I didn't realize I was still carrying and I also share, with tenderness, how working through a traumatic experience from my adolescence allowed me to safely access and release decades of stored rage, and how moving long-held shame around my sexuality and femininity became one of the most liberating experiences of the retreat. Together we'll explore: • What shadow work actually is (and what it isn't) • Why we develop hidden parts of ourselves in childhood • How suppressed emotions affect our nervous system and relationships • Why healing isn't about becoming someone new—but remembering who you've always been • Gentle ways you can begin exploring your own shadow without attending a retreat If you've ever struggled with feeling unworthy, "too much," not enough, or disconnected from yourself, this conversation is an invitation to meet those hidden parts with compassion instead of judgment. Because healing isn't about fixing yourself. It's about finally welcoming yourself home.

PPD, Nervous System Dysregulation & Chronic Mastitis: The Biggest Postpartum Mistakes Almost Every Mom Makes

In this week's episode of The Ecstatic Life Podcast, I'm sharing one of the biggest mistakes I made after the birth of my first four children... and why I believe it led to years of postpartum depression, chronic mastitis, nervous system dysregulation, pelvic floor issues, burnout, and resentment. Like so many women, I believed "bouncing back" made me a good mother. I couldn't have been more wrong. In this deeply personal episode, we're talking about why the first 40 days postpartum shape the next 40 years of your life, what modern Western culture gets so wrong about postpartum healing, and how honoring rest completely transformed my experience after my fifth baby. If this episode speaks to you, I'd love to invite you into Ecstatic Life Academy, my online community where we practice nervous system healing, feminine embodiment, emotional resilience, and creating lives that feel deeply alive—not just survived.
