    The Stalking and Strangling of Laken Riley

    Laken Riley was a 22 year old nursing student at Augusta University in Athens Georgia. In February of 2024 she was out for her normal morning jog. Listening to music, texting her mom, telling her friends where she was. She did everything right, but still fell prey to a dangerous predator. José Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuelan man who lived on her route, watched and waited for her to arrive. On the trails of Oconee Forest Park, he struck. Not even an open line to 911 could save her in time. Her loss went on to devastate a family and outrage a country.

    Susan Powell Disappearance

    Susan Marie Powell from West Valley City, Utah, disappeared in December 2009. Her husband, Joshua Powell, was a person of interest in her disappearance and suspected murder, but he was never charged. No one knows exactly where Susan is or what happened to her-- we only have the strange story Joshua gave to police, the testimony of his four year old son and the strange behavior of Josh's family. The story came to a shocking and tragic end you won't believe.
