This podcast also includes a video with subtitles, and you can find the full transcript in the episode description. 00:00 Story (first time)03:45 Questions and Answers04:40 Vocabulary recap05:47 Story (second time) 文法： S-Plain+N (noun-modifier) V1-(ます)、V2-(ます)… (conjunctive form) N+ならでは (distinctive of; uniquely applying to; special to ~) V-る+ように (in order to) スクリプト： 毎年6月ごろから7月中旬ごろまで続く日本の梅雨は、雨がよく降る季節です。熱帯地域の雨季とは違って、スコールのような雨はなく、何日も曇りが続き、弱い雨がしとしとと降り続きます。地域によって始まる時期は少し違いますが、暑い夏の前にやってくるこのジメジメとした日々は、日本で暮らす人にはちょっと大変です。湿度が高くなる梅雨の時期は、空気が湿った日が増えて、部屋の中に干した洗濯物も外に干した洗濯物も乾きにくくなります。また、カビも生えやすくなるので、部屋をよく換気しなければいけません。部屋の湿度を下げる除湿機や、エアコンの除湿機能を使う人も多いです。一方で、自然にとっては梅雨も大切な季節です。たとえば、お米を作る農家さんにとっては、元気な稲を育てるためにも、夏の日照りの前に田んぼに十分な水が蓄えられる梅雨の季節は必要不可欠です。また、この時期に川やダムに溜まった水は、夏の水不足を防ぐためにも重要です。他にも、梅雨ならではの楽しみもあります。たとえば、雨の中美しく咲く紫陽花は、多くの人に人気があります。日本全国に、、美しい紫陽花が見られるなどの有名なスポットがあり、雨の日でもカメラを持って旅行する人はたくさんいます。それから、雨の日も楽しく過ごせるように、日本には素敵なレイングッズがたくさんあります。カラフルな傘や、おしゃれなレインコート、機能的な長靴など、様々な商品が出ています。クリアな素材で前がよく見える傘や、スニーカーの上から履けるシューズカバーなど、便利で面白いアイディア商品もあります。皆さんの国や地域では、日本の梅雨のような季節がありますか。日本の梅雨は毎日雨が続いてちょっと大変ですが、美しい雨の景色に出会える季節でもあります。もしこの時期に日本を旅行する機会があれば、素敵な雨の一枚を、写真に収めてみてくださいね。

This podcast also includes a video with subtitles, and you can find the full transcript in the episode description. 00:00 Story (first time)03:52 Tongue Twister Challenge!04:52 Vocabulary recap05:40 Story (second time) 文法： V-にくい (difficult to do) V-て+みる (try to do) V-て+ください (please do something) S-Plain+か (indirect question) S-Plain+N (noun-modifier) S-Plain+ので (because) V-(ら)れる (passive form) S+かもしれない (might; perhaps; indicates possibility) V-た+ら (if; when) スクリプト： 今日は、日本の早口言葉を紹介します。日本人でも言いにくい文ですが、発音の練習になりますから、皆さんぜひ挑戦してみてくださいね。まずはゆっくりと文を読みます。それから、文の意味と発音の難しいポイントについて説明します。最後に、早口で3回繰り返します。どの早口言葉が難しかったか、ぜひコメントで教えてくださいね。 ①「生麦生米生卵」これは、ほとんどの日本人が知っている有名な早口言葉です。「生の麦」「生の米」「生の卵」と、三つの食べ物の名前を続けて言いますが、特に深い意味はありません。NとMの音がたくさんあるので、言うのがちょっと難しいです。 ②「東京特許許可局」これも、とても有名な早口言葉です。特許はパテントのことで、東京にあるパテントをマネジメントするオフィス、という意味ですが、この名前のオフィスは日本にはありません。早口言葉のために作られた言葉です。「きょ」「きょく」「きょか」など、似ている音が続くので難しいです。日本語を勉強している人には、「と・う・きょ・う」「と・っ・きょ」「きょ・か・きょ・く」と4拍、3拍、4拍のモーラを正しく発音するのが難しいかもしれません。ゆっくり練習してみてください。 ③「買った肩たたき機高かった」これは「肩のマッサージをする機械を買ったら、その値段が高かったです」という意味です。「か」「た」「き」という強い発音の音がたくさんあるので、とても言いにくいです。この早口言葉も、正しい長さのモーラを発音するのが難しいかもしれません。「か・っ・た」「か・た・た・た・き・き」「た・か・か・っ・た」3拍、6拍、5拍です。小さい「っ」のときに、しっかり休むのが大切です。
