This podcast also includes a video with subtitles, and you can find the full transcript in the episode description. 00:00 Story (first time)03:21 Questions and Answers04:22 Vocabulary recap06:00 Story (second time) 文法：V-(ら)れる (passive form)S-Plain+N (noun-modifier)V1-(ます)、V2-(ます)… (conjunctive form)V-る+ように (in order to)V/Adj.-plain+ようだ (appears; seems; looks as if) スクリプト：みなさんは「お盆」という言葉を聞いたことがありますか。日本のお盆は、先祖の霊を迎え、感謝の気持ちを伝える期間です。地域によって時期は少し違いますが、多くの地域では8月13日から16日ごろまでがお盆です。日本では、お盆になるとご先祖様が家に帰ってくると考えられています。そのため、家をきれいに掃除し、仏壇に花や果物、飲み物などを供えます。お盆の風習も、地域によって色々な違いがあります。有名なのは、霊が迷わず家に帰れるように家の前で「迎え火」をたき、お盆の終わりには「送り火」をたいて見送るというものです。他にも、キュウリとナスに割り箸で足をつけて、馬と牛の飾りを作る風習も有名です。キュウリの馬は、ご先祖様が足の早い馬に乗って早く帰って来られるように、ナスの牛は、ゆっくりと景色を楽しみながらあの世に帰れるように、という願いが込められています。また、お盆の期間には、実家に帰る人も多く、普段は離れて暮らしている家族や親戚が集まり、一緒に食事をしたり、お墓参りをしたりします。それから、「盆踊り」をする地域も多くあります。地域ごとに音楽や踊り方が異なりますが、多くの場合、やぐらと呼ばれる台のまわりをみんなで輪になって踊ります。もともとは先祖の霊を慰めるための行事でしたが、今では地域の人々が交流するお祭りとしても親しまれています。最近は、更に進化して、単に夏のイベントとして、Jポップやアニソンの音楽で踊る盆踊りイベントなどもあるようです。皆さんの国や地域では、亡くなった人を思い出したり、先祖の霊を迎えたりする行事がありますか。どんなことをしますか。ぜひコメント欄で教えてくださいね。
