(Romans 1:18) Months ago, I sensed the Lord impressing upon my heart that America was being given over to the consequences of its own rebellion and depraved ideologies, much as Scripture describes when a people persistently reject His truth and exchange it for the desires of fallen hearts. Because of that conviction, as my family gathered in prayer yesterday before the counting of votes began, my prayer was not centered on a conservative victory or a particular political outcome. Rather, I asked that the Bride of Christ be prepared for what may lie ahead. Whether the days before us bring cultural decline, increasing hostility toward biblical truth, or seasons of profound testing, my prayer was that believers would be strengthened in faith, purified in devotion to Yeshua, and equipped to stand firm with courage, holiness, and unwavering dependence upon the Lord. More than preserving a nation, I prayed for the readiness of Christ’s Church to endure, overcome, and shine as a faithful witness in what may prove to be its darkest hours.
