    Secured, Not Rused

Episode 8 – Secured, Not Rushed In Episode 8, Secured, Not Rushed, we are anchored in the book of James as we confront the pressure to compare, hurry, and strive outside of God's timing. James reminds us that maturity is formed through perseverance, not speed. When we rush the process, we often interrupt the very work God is trying to complete. Being secured in who God has called us to be requires settling our hearts, refusing to measure our journey against someone else's, and resisting the urge to self-sabotage through impatience or fear. This episode is an invitation to stand confidently in God, trusting that what He establishes does not need to be forced.  We are not shrinking back. We are not settling for fragments. We are going after all God has promised confident, secure, and unwavering in Him. Stand firm. Stay anchored. Let God finish what He started.  With Joy, Diamond Denise 📱 Follow me: Instagram: @theDiamondDenise YouTube: Diamond Denise

    About My Father's Business

Episode 7 – About My Father's Business In Episode 7, About My Father's Business, we shift from fighting to dwell into learning how to remain steadfast, anchored, and unmoved while God works through us. James 5 reminds us, Remaining is not passive. It is endurance with purpose. It is staying faithful when the outcome isn't immediate and contending when obedience costs something. Being about the Father's business means choosing separation over conformity. We cannot carry heaven's assignment while living by the world's standards. Remaining requires holiness, patience, and trust, believing that God is working even when progress feels slow and recognition is absent. This episode calls us to contend without striving, to remain without wavering, and to let our fruit speak louder than our opinions. We don't have to announce what God is doing, transformation, consistency, and obedience will testify for us. God finishes what He started. The Fight to Dwell

Episode 6 – The Fight to Dwell In Episode 6, The Fight to Dwell, we're confronting a reality we can't ignore: dwelling in God's presence doesn't happen by accident. It takes intentionality. In a world full of noise, busyness, and constant pull, remaining in His presence is a daily fight. Distractions are not random. Scripture reminds us that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking to devour, and often his greatest weapon isn't destruction, it's distraction. If he can keep us busy, overwhelmed, or unfocused, he can keep us from abiding. Dwelling requires awareness and choice. It means recognizing when distractions are pulling our attention away and intentionally returning to God. It's choosing stillness over noise, focus over frenzy, and presence over pressure. It's guarding our hearts and minds so we don't drift from the place where we are most alive, in Him. This episode challenges you to fight for your time with God, to resist the subtle distractions meant to pull you away, and to remain anchored in His presence no matter what tries to compete for your attention. It's a fight. But it's worth it. I love you always, With Joy — Diamond Denise 📱 Follow me: Instagram: @theDiamondDenise YouTube: Diamond Denise

Dwell Here - From Legalism to Living

Episode 5 – Dwell Here: From Legalism to Living In Episode 5, Dwell Here, we're diving into a truth many of us struggle with: faith isn't meant to be a checklist. Too often, we focus on doing for God, checking boxes, earning favor, and measuring up, when God's heart is for us to dwell with Him. Legalism weighs us down with guilt and shame. Grace lifts us up and invites us to live in His presence every day. Dwelling is not passive; it is intentional. It is choosing relationship over ritual. It is living in alignment with God's presence, even when life is messy and imperfect. It is embracing grace over guilt, presence over performance, and connection over conformity. This episode challenges you to stop striving and start resting, to move from working for God to living with God and to accept that His grace is enough. No checklist. Just His presence. Submitted to Go

Episode 4- Submitted to Go In Episode 4, Submitted to God, we're diving into a truth many people confuse: surrender and submission are not the same. Surrender is letting go, but submission is leaning in, choosing alignment, choosing obedience, choosing God's will even when it costs you your comfort. Surrender releases control. Submission releases you. Submission is not passive; it is intentional. It is an agreement. It is placing your "yes" in God's hands with no backup plan, no escape route, no secret safety net. It's not "God, I trust You… but just in case." It's "God, I'm Yours, fully." True submission shows up in your decisions, your relationships, your finances, your identity, and your purpose. It's consistency when you feel inconsistent. It's obedience when you don't understand. It's staying committed when convenience fades. This episode challenges you to examine where you've surrendered halfway, but not submitted fully,  and invites you into a deeper, freer, stronger walk with God. No plan B. Just Him. You are In Surrender

In Episode 3, You Are in Surrender, we're leaning into a truth many of us resist: surrender isn't weakness,  it's wisdom. It's learning to trust God's timing, even when that means stepping out of the spotlight, taking a step back, or taking a needed break. Surrender is staying in the room even when the attention shifts. It's knowing that hidden seasons are holy seasons, and rest is not retreat, it's alignment. You don't lose anything in surrender; you gain clarity, strength, and peace. Stay positioned, stay obedient, stay surrendered. I love you always, With Joy, Diamond Denise   📱 Follow me: Instagram: @theDiamondDenise YouTube: Diamond Denise

    BUILT TO BREAK

In Episode 2, we're leaning into a truth many of us avoid: sometimes God allows us to be broken, not to destroy us, but to release what He placed inside of us. Just like a glow stick shines brightest after it's cracked, we often shine the most when we embrace our weakness and let God's strength take over. This episode is about understanding that being "built to break" isn't a flaw… it's part of your design. Your limitations don't disqualify you; they make space for God's power to be made perfect in you. Weakness isn't the enemy, pride, fear, and self-reliance are. When you stop trying to hold everything together on your own and allow God to meet you in the breaking, something powerful happens: His light begins to pour through the places you once tried to hide. You don't have to be unshakeable. You don't have to be flawless. God isn't looking for people who never crack; He's looking for people willing to surrender the cracks to Him. Because when you do… that's when you shine. It's time to embrace the breaking—and let God's glory break through. Go

Episode 1: Go Welcome to Season 2 of the Pick Up The Phone Podcast! In this episode, we're talking about taking the step to go, to move in obedience to what God has called you to do. It's time to step out of comfort and into calling. This season is about action, about answering the call to make disciples, to impact lives, and to walk boldly in faith. "Go" isn't just a command; it's an invitation. God isn't asking for perfection, He's asking for participation. He's already equipped you with everything you need for the journey ahead. All He needs is your yes. Trust that God goes before you, walks beside you, and works through you. When you move in obedience, heaven moves with you. It's time to answer the call… and go. Keep your connection on and your faith strong. I love you always, With Joy — Diamond Denise  📱 Follow me: Instagram: @theDiamondDenise YouTube: Diamond Denise
