Apart from Him, we can do nothing, but when we abide in Him, our lives bear fruit that glorifies the Father. "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me." Many come from vulnerable families, including immigrants and refugees. These kids have had to grow up fast, and Actur is often the only place where they truly get to be kids. But their patio, their only “backyard” — is falling apart. There is loose gravel everywhere, only one small drinking fountain that is already breaking down, and the patio hasn’t been renovated in 28 years. We want to help change that. Our mission is to help build the kids the patio of their dreams, a safe place to play, laugh, grow, and simply be children again.     To all Christians — somewhere along the way, we’ve gotten a little too comfortable. Not out of bad intention… but over time, we’ve forgotten the weight of where we are and Who we’re before. The way we dress for church reflects the posture of our hearts not out of pressure, but out of love. It’s time to revive the reverence we were always meant to carry. We’re not going somewhere ordinary… we’re coming before God. And while He is our Friend, He is first our God. This isn’t just for Catholics. It’s for Protestants, Orthodox for every Christian. Reverence isn’t a tradition, it’s a response to who He is. The Eucharist is not just a symbol it is the Body of Christ. And if we truly believed that, it would change how we enter, how we sit, how we speak. Silence matters.

    One Year Abiding In Him

    One year of abiding in Him! Today marks one full year since we released our very first episode of We Abide In Him and our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude. This past year has been filled with holy moments and hard moments, stretching seasons and sacred encounters with God. Through it all, the Lord has been faithful. This podcast has been a place where obedience met vulnerability, where our friendship was refined and became apart of the foundation for everything God wanted to build. In this episode, we reflect on all the ways God has moved in our lives and through this space over the last year, the lessons learned, the growth we didn’t expect, and the grace that carried us. As we look ahead, we do so together trusting God with what's next, confident that God will continue to guide and grow us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being apart of this family. We love you deeply and hold each one of you in our prayers. May we continue to grow, listen, and remain rooted together, abiding in Him every step of the way and may God bless our 2026!

    Christ Mass: The Word Made Flesh

    In a world that tells us Christmas is about lights, gifts, and passing joy, the Church gently calls us back to the truth: Christmas begins with a gift the world could never give itself, God choosing to enter our humanity. In this episode, we reflect on the Birth of Our Lord, the night the eternal Word took flesh and salvation was born in a manger. We contemplate what Christ came to do by becoming small, how His humility, obedience, and boundless love marked the dawn of our redemption. We journey to Bethlehem to consider the meaning of the Nativity and the quiet power of a God who allowed Himself to be held, adored, and laid in straw for our sake. This mystery has been cherished and handed on by the Church since the earliest centuries, formally celebrated as Christmas in 336 AD, not as a mere custom, but as a profound confession of faith. We also explore how this holy mystery was brought closer to the faithful through St. Francis of Assisi, whose living Nativity invited hearts not simply to remember Christ’s birth, but to enter into it with reverence and love. Come, draw near to the manger and behold the gift given for you. Go and share the good news—Christ is born! Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
