The Nourished Mum Podcast

Fawzia Mohamed

Well Salam, mama Welcome to The Nourished Mum Podcast. I'm your host, Fawzia Mohamed — holistic health and life coach for mums — and this is your space to pause, breathe, and be poured into. Because motherhood was never meant to drain you. You were created to be nourished — in your soul, your mind, your body, and your faith. Here, we go beyond survival mode. We talk about emotional well-being, spiritual grounding, inner healing, and becoming the mother you want to be — without losing the woman you are. This podcast is a reminder that when a mama is supported, whole, and nourished from within, her home, her children, and her community flourish too. So take a deep breath, put your hand on your heart, and settle in… This is your time, mama. Let's begin. Bismallah

Episode# 48 : Bridging Immigration for Healthcare Workers with Maryan Ismail (Part 1)- Mothers Making a difference in East Africa

Salam  mamas,  I pray your week has been gentle, slow where it needed to be… and full of barakah.   If I'm being honest, mama — my week has been full. The kids are on school holidays… and you already know what that means.   More presence. More play. More intentional moments. Trying to keep them engaged, off screens, and making these days feel special…   And somewhere in between all of that? My usual routines — the gym, the quiet moments, the space to recharge — have taken a step back.   But you know what I've been reminding myself…   This is the season. A season that calls for flexibility. A season that invites me to release perfection… To give myself grace… And to simply be present with my children.   Because motherhood isn't about doing everything perfectly — it's about showing up with intention, even when things feel a little out of rhythm    Now… before I turn this into a full life update (because you know I could 😂), Let's get into today's beautiful conversation. We're continuing our guest series: "Mothers Making a Difference in East Africa."   And mama… today's guest is truly something special.   We're joined by the incredible Maryan Ismail — a regulated Canadian immigration consultant, a single mama of two, and a woman whose strength, faith, and resilience will truly inspire you. Allahumma barik.   In this episode, we talk about:   ~ Her journey of moving to Kenya and building a new life ~ Navigating motherhood and business with tawakkul (trust in Allah) ~ How she carried herself through postpartum using dhikr and connection to Allah ﷻ ~ What *true nourishment* looks like for her in this season ~ And how she continues to pour into herself while raising her children and serving others Wallahi, mama… this conversation is filled with so much depth, honesty, and wisdom.   It's a reminder that you can hold multiple roles… That you can rebuild, grow, and thrive… And that with Allah at the centre, everything finds its place.   I personally took so much from this — and I know you will too, insha'Allah    So go ahead… Grab your tea ☕ Find a quiet corner (even if it's just for a few minutes) And open your heart.   Let's begin… Bismillah.
