Philanthropy Tank empowers and inspires the next generation of CHANGEmakers by challenging and equipping students to implement sustainable service-driven solutions to problems impacting our community.   CHANGEmakers receive mentorship and funding for their student-led community impact ideas. Since inception in 2015, Philanthropy Tank has awarded over $700,000 in funding to 70+ student-led projects in Palm Beach County, FL (HQ) and Baltimore, MD. Of those programs, approximately 40% have become their own 501c3 nonprofit organizations.   CHANGEmakers have created and continue to run organizations that support various areas of impact.

    CHANGEmakers 2026 – Episode 8: Camila Spinosi & Blooms for Hope Kids

    In Episode 8, we highlight Youth Changemaker Camila Spinosi, founder of Blooms for Hope Kids—a Philanthropy Tank program dedicated to bringing joy, comfort, and encouragement to young cancer patients. Through handmade cards, personalized care packages, and uplifting hospital visits, the program spreads light during some of the most challenging moments in a child’s medical journey. Through Philanthropy Tank, students create year‑round programs that solve a challenge in our community. Through the process of creating a program, pitching it to philanthropist investors and mentors, and implementing the program, students learn many transferable professional skills and impact the community.   Blooms for Hope Kids believes in the power of small gestures to make a big impact. The program organizes creative initiatives that inspire joy, raise awareness for pediatric cancer, and help young patients feel loved, valued, and included.     CHANGEmakers 2026 - Episode 7: Joanne Choi & Music for Memory

    In Episode 7, we feature Youth Changemaker Joanne Choi, founder of Music for Memory—a Philanthropy Tank program that brings young musicians into memory care facilities to support seniors with dementia through the healing power of music. The program aims to enhance memory, spark cognitive engagement, reduce feelings of isolation, and build meaningful intergenerational connections. Through Philanthropy Tank, students create year‑round programs that solve a challenge in our community. Launched in July 2024, Music for Memory has continued performing across Palm Beach County, spreading joy, warmth, and companionship through live musical engagement. The program encourages patient interaction, fosters emotional connection, and explores ways for seniors to access music anytime—ensuring that moments of comfort, recognition, and happiness are always within reach.     CHANGEmakers 2026 – Episode 6: Rayan Kha & Tech Ease

    In Episode 6, we spotlight Youth Changemaker Rayan Kha, founder of TechEase—a Philanthropy Tank program created to help senior citizens stay safe online and feel confident using modern technology. TechEase provides patient, hands‑on support, clear cybersecurity education, and practical tools that empower older adults to protect their privacy, strengthen digital independence, and stay connected to the people who matter most. Through Philanthropy Tank, students create year‑round programs that solve a challenge in our community. Rayan’s inspiration began with his own grandparents in India, who struggled to keep up with rapidly changing technology. After helping them set up video‑calling tools during a visit, he saw firsthand how life‑changing digital confidence can be—and realized that many seniors face the same challenge. What began as helping seniors make simple calls and messages has grown into a full digital‑literacy and cybersecurity initiative, ensuring that older adults aren’t left behind as the world becomes increasingly connected.     CHANGEmakers 2026 - Episode 5: Daniela Staton & STEM Squad

Launched in 2023, Trinkets of Hope has grown from a small peer‑support effort into a thriving organization with over 170 members and three community partners. The program advocates for body positivity, raises awareness about eating disorders, and fosters safe, open conversations through volunteer projects, social gatherings, and workshops—creating a true sense of connection and belonging for all who participate. Through Philanthropy Tank, students create year‑round programs that solve a challenge in our community. Through the process of creating a program, pitching it to philanthropist investors and mentors, and implementing the program, students learn many transferable professional skills and impact the community. With Girls Shooting for Success, learning goes far beyond the court. The program is built on mentorship, leadership, and the belief that young girls thrive when guided by those who have walked the path before them. Using sports—especially basketball—as the foundation, high school student‑athletes serve as mentors, role models, and leaders for underprivileged young girls. The mission focuses on teaching essential life skills such as confidence, teamwork, discipline, accountability, and leadership—skills that open doors not only in sports, but throughout life. Kaitlyn’s work shows how intentional mentorship can inspire strength, resilience, and success in the next generation.
