“It’s Your Story To Tell” Guest Appearance Part II

One thing that I know for certain after changing careers is that God’s glory is worth living for, but man’s glory is fleeting. In Part II of my interview with Megan Babcock on her podcast, I will share about breaking generational patterns and hearing God’s voice in our darkest moments. I share a story of redemption that no human being could have ever orchestrated. I pray that we will all worship our great God today, and rest in His good plans for our lives, even when we don’t understand. He will keep every promise. 1 Peter 2:21–25 [21] For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. [22] He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. [23] When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. [24] He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. [25] For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. I’m working on more coaching training through Life Model Works and the Center for Tranformation Institute. I can’t wait to share it with my Christian-Life Coaching Clients. Worthy or Not?

Do you think you are worthy? It’s a big existential question. It can determine if you have a secure base and attachment to God and others. It is an essential concept for forming boundaries, or having purpose and meaning in life. What does the Bible say about worthiness? The word, righteous, which is all over the Bible, encompasses this concept. I listed verses below that I reference. I pray that you will see that only God is righteous; only God is worthy of all our worship and praise; and only God is able to save us. Jesus gives us His righteousness and worthiness through His life, death, and resurrection. He makes us righteous and worthy! We are valuable to God! May we live in that confidence and humility this week. Romans 3:10–12 [10] as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; [11] no one understands; no one seeks for God. [12] All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” (ESV) Genesis 1:27–28 [27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. [28] And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (ESV) 2 Corinthians 5:21 [21] For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
