    Is that a Possum in your Thatching?!? - The Land Ethic CORE FOUR#1

    Welcome to episode three of School of the Wild Arts! Today we explore the first of our CORE FOUR values: the land ethic, using the OG Aldo Leopold as a jumping off point. Join us as we delve into the rustic beauty and daily challenges of life in La Sierrita, the Pueblo outside of Palomino, Colombia. With a 50% success rate in battling the elements lol we consider what it means to be in an ongoing ethical encounter with the non-human members of our ecological community.    Our setting provides a unique blend of rustic and modern, offering a deeper look at the cyclical nature of rainy seasons, the insects, and the joys and trials of family life mingled with wildlife. We discuss the communal aspects of living with nature and how this cohabitation challenges our understanding of security and stability. We ponder the integrity and stability of the biotic community, exploring how beauty is perceived not only in thriving ecosystems but also in their decay. This episode invites you into meaningful dialogues about our place within this ecological tapestry and our ongoing journey towards learning, growth, and coexistence with our surroundings. From reflections on transhumanism and the beauty of simple living, to exploring core values and the lessons nature offers, this episode promises an insightful journey into the wild art of living among nature’s wonders.

    Purifying High Alpine Health Hustle!

    Coming at you from Minca, Colombia where we're taking inspiration from the high-climbing locals as well as our own nation's past poetic leaders.  The loose theme is purification, whether that of drinking water, our own occasionally bogged-down spirits or the tick-infested hide and ear canals of a beautiful little pup that we're fostering.

    Power Couple Police! Snake Oil or Truth Serum?
