Ep. 143 Blue states were far worse during covid

His Vine & Fig Tree Podcast—Ep. 143 As Dr. Tony Fauci pleaded the fifth before a U.S. Senate committee Wednesday morning, the diary entries that have been made public since last weekend paint the picture of a megalomaniac narcissistic sociopath. Fauci had a god complex, with diary entries that reveal new cases, new deaths, and almost a daily parade of headline grabbing. However, anyone who didn’t live in a blue state during covid doesn’t have a clue what life was like. It was a series edicts, orders, diktats, all with the belief the power of the state insisted everyone get in line—“or else.” It was un-American. Wilson Perry Kirby, a 76-year-old Tennessee resident, has a problem with the IRS. The federal taxing agency sent him a $20,000 refund, by mistake, in 2022. He’s made multiple efforts to attempt to correct this government mistake. Now the IRS is threatening to come against Kirby. The information about Vice President JD Vance continues to raise questions that should give folks right of center pause and concern. The newest round started earlier this week when Jeremy Boreing, the former CEO of The Daily Wire, interviewed Rod Dreher, the editor-at-large of The American Conservative and columnist for The Free Press. Hear what Dreher said here and here. The longer interview is here, beginning at the 1 hour and 9-minute mark. Bonus—We need more of this kind of toxic masculinity—Hero lifegard. #Politics #covid #IRS #JDVance #JeremyBoreing #RodDreher #CAlifeguard This is a public episode. Ep. 142 JD Vance has a poor view of the world

His Vine & Fig Tree Podcast—Ep. 142 Democrats are reacting to the rise of the democratic socialists (read Communists) in the party. Bill Mahrer has said his vote in 2028 is up for grabs. Meanwhile, Van Jones, the former Obama adviser and current CNN contributor, went to Substack recenttly and went off on the crowd pusing abolishing police, not imprisoning murderers and rapists, and rejecting the right is Israel to exist. Catch Van Jones’ strong comments here. It will be interersting how this plays out as Democrats see their brand being wrecked. Nicaragua’s communist President Daniel Oretega has done what any good communist does: eliminate any threat of someone taking over. He recently canceled future elections. This comes amid a rising strig of right-of-center populist leaders being elected throughout Central America and South America. Vice President JD Vance has a many Republicans rushing to vote for him in 2028. He has had prominence recently by: being one of the negotiators of the failed ceasefire talks with Iran; speaking at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library; and being interviewed by Joe Rogan. Vance is fundamentally wrong in giving faith, trust and credibility in the Iranian government. Vance is wrong in constantly blaming Israel first. Vance is wrong in elevating Richard Nixon over Ronald Reagan in the GOP. Vance is wrong in his perspective of the private and public sectors. And Vance is the wrong candidate to lead Republicans post-Trump. This is a public episode. Ep. 139 What's going on with Sen. McConnell?

His Vine & Fig Tree Podcast—Ep. 139 Is it the Hunter Biden scandal, but with a taste of Trump and Lutnick? The president’s two sons, Don Jr. and Eric, and Commerce Sec. Howard Lutnick’s two sons are set to profit from a plan where a company will be mining tungsten in Kazakhstan. The New York Times has a paywalled original story. The New York Post did one of their own. The whole thing smells of self-dealing and corruption. Perhaps President Trump has had his “aha” moment. At the July 4 funeral for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, there were several signs proclaiming “Kill Trump” as a target of thre Islamic regime. Meanwhile, Iran shot missiles at more nations and then ships in the Strait of Hormuz. The situation is so bad he has no desire for further talks with Iran. Additionally, these four Americans are traitors. The bombings are supposed to continue with much vigor. There’s tremendous mystery surrounding U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ken., and the former Senate Majority Leader who is 84. Independent journalist Desiree Townsend has been on the top of this story since in happened on June 14. That morning, there was an EMS call to McConnell’s home. It received no attention from legacy media until this week because Townsend has been relentless in reporting events with the senator who did not seek re-election this year. Three days after her husband’s hospitalization, McConnell’s wife, Elaine Chao, was in Beijing communicating with China’s vice president. Chao has family in China and there is a past compiled by Tony Seruga, with his thread on X. Chao was transportation secretary in Trump 1. Because of the mystery surrounding McConnell, the Senate leadership got in on the act Tuesday with Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Scott Jennings, also of Kentucky, and Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wy, each saying they had conversations with McConnell and leading people to believe he’s recovering and all is well. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, a Democrat, added to the drama early Wednesday when he fired off a letter to McConnell’s office wanting confirmation of what’s happening. If McConnell were to resign or die before Aug. 3, it would trigger a special election. Kentucky voters and and Americans deserve straight answers what’s happening with McConnell. Ep. 138 More communists winning primaries

His Vine & Fig Tree Podcast—Ep. 138 With America’s 250th birthday apopraching, follow 1776Live on X as this guy is sending out information under 250 years ago today while tracing events of the American Revolution. The Democrats could have acted normal and saw the communist wolves at the gate before they started using Democrats as a tool for political power. But they didn’t, and we now have a mess on our hands. How many Democrats become NeverDSAers? Is James Carville going to be the face of protesting Democrats? Or is he all bark and no bite? But Democrats can’t even name a nation where socialism/communism benefited anyone. Check out CNBC’s Joe Kernen questioning U.S. Sen. Lisa Blunt Rochester, D-DE. The whole issue underscores the importance of good character for candidates. If that was a priority, these communists wouldn’t be allowed to darken the door of the Democratic party, or any party. Want a quick primer on communism? Larry Alex Taunton provides it. President Donald Trump lost his birthright citizenship executive order at the U.S. Supreme Court Tuesday. I don ‘t agree with the decision, but the executive branch is going to have to do the hard work of governing, and the Congress may even need to pass one or two laws. I also disagree with how Team Trump has tackled the issue of deportations. Go after the bad guys with a record of committing crimes here, go after folks on visas from China doing the bidding of the CCP, and get rid of these Islamists shouting, “Death to America!” Meanwhile, with a ceasefire and memorandum of understanding hanging by a thread, other things are in motion. Some Iranians appear to be unmoved by rice showing up for them. Iraq is purging their nation of folks doing the bidding of the Iranian regime. There are rumors that Trump is talking more military activity if the diplomacy doesn’t hold. 2 extras: SCOTUS made the right decision on girls in girls sports. That one wasn’t hard. And NYS Gov. Kathy Hochul might be the least popular public official in the state. Check out this video at the completion of the new Highmark Stadium. This is a public episode. Ep. 137 Commies, Marxists win NYC primaries

His Vine & Fig Tree Podcast—Ep. 137 The New York State primary on Tuesday delivered a powerful message to the Democratic establishment: the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)—Communists and Marxists—are the base of the party. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani played kingmaker in three Democratic primaries for congressional districts. These DSA nominees are anti-ICE, they want police defunded, will vocally promote Islam, and one can’t even say murderers should be in jail. On the same day, a Texas judge sentenced multiple defendants of a North Texas Antifa cell to a total of 430 years in jail for their role at the ICE fracility in Alvarado, TX nearly a year ago. It’s the first time Antifa has been punished in the U.S. Keir Starmer has resigned as British prime minister after some recent political events made his future quite tenuous. Andy Burnham is expected to surtface as the Labour Party’s candidate for prime minister. But the Brits still have this problem with Muslims, which got much more complicated last week in the The Rape Gang Inquiry Report. There’s also this interview that Glenn Beck conducted. At least 250,000 white British young females faced unspeakable crimes by predominantly Muslim Pakistani men since the 1950s. It involves 149 jurisdictions with officials who turned a blind eye because they didn’t wan to be called racists and Islamophobic. Feminists in the West, including America, have been deathly silent. Major League Baseball had a dustup in San Francisco related to Pride Night earlier in June. Three Giants pitchers put Bible verses on Pride Night hats, with the MLB threatening fined to each player. U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, fired off a letter to MLB Commissioner Robert Manfred threatening a subpoena before Congress and potential legislation. Manfred responded the players will not be fined and will never be fined. As sports has gotten involved in the alphabet mafia, what did they think was going to happen? They deserve all the defiance the players can muster. Americans dfon’t want politics in their sports. This is a public episode.
