    To Be Hero X Review(ish)

In a world where heroes are defined by the trust and goodwill of the people, there are two kinds: those who earn the people's trust and those who are born from it. This trust is quantified as data, displayed on the wristbands they wear, and by harnessing it, ordinary individuals can gain superpowers of their own. Enter X, a legendary superhero who once held the highest trust level and reigned supreme at the pinnacle of heroism. However, the ever-shifting nature of trust has begun to reshape public perception of heroes, with X bearing the brunt of these changes. Now, his journey is fraught with uncertainty as he faces relentless challenges, obstacles, and a mysterious force determined to eliminate him and his fellow heroes. To Be Hero X (凸变英雄X, Tu Bian Yingxiong X) is the third installment in the To Be Hero series, following 2018's To Be Heroine. Directed by Li Haoling and produced by bilibili, BeDream, Studio LAN, and Aniplex, the series premiered on April 6, 2025, on Fuji TV and bilibili, with global streaming releases on Netflix and Prime Video the following day. Crunchyroll is also simulcasting the series for international audiences.

"The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World" follows Tōgo Asagaki, the Red Ranger of the Kizuna Five, who is transported to a fantasy realm after battling the Breakup King. Retaining his Sentai powers—including transformation and a Megazord—he adapts to this new world as an adventurer, joining forces with Princess Teltina, determined to eradicate demonic possession; Idola, a sorceress striving to redeem her family’s legacy; and Rosie, the princess’s loyal yet overshadowed bodyguard. While Tōgo’s heroic abilities awe his allies, his unconventional tactics and lack of common sense create both comedic friction and admiration, blending isekai tropes with Sentai action as the group navigates clashes of culture and justice in their quests.
