A Little Reality, A Little Travel, and Life Feeling Lighter Subtitle

Some weeks are full of big milestones. Other weeks are full of small wins that quietly change everything. In this Friday catch-up episode, I'm sharing the phone call I avoided for far too long, what happened when I finally dealt with my HOA issue, and why I've realized that some of the hardest things in life aren't actually hard—they're just avoided. I'm also giving a health and wellness update, talking honestly about gaining weight after months of travel, and sharing what's helping me get back into a consistent routine without waiting for motivation to magically appear. Plus: 🍷 Winos on the Virg: Masia de la Vinya Winery ✈️ Travel on the Virg: Puerto Rico and Palm Springs highlights 📺 Reality on the Virg: Housewives, documentaries, Love Island, and Law & Order And somewhere along the way, we'll talk about why life has been feeling a little lighter lately—even though not much on the surface has changed. #LivingOnTheVirg #LifestylePodcast #WomenOver50 #WomenOver60 #PodcastLife #RealLife #LifeLately #MidlifeReflections #HealthyLiving #IntentionalLiving #TravelOnTheVirg #PuertoRicoTravel #PalmSpringsLife #TravelStories #WinosOnTheVirg #TemeculaWineCountry #MasiaDeLaVinya #WineLover #CaliforniaWine #RealityOnTheVirg #RealityTV #BravoTV #Housewives #RHOC #RHORI #RHOBH #RealHousewives #LoveIslandUSA #SummerHouse #BravoAddict #BravoFans #LawAndOrder #TrueCrimeDocumentary #MichaelJacksonDocumentary Follow up on YouTube! Learning What Enough Feels Like

Yesterday I got more done than I had in weeks. I went to the gym, cleaned up the house, tackled a mountain of office work, balanced finances, edited a podcast episode I was proud of, and made healthy choices all day long. And somehow, at the end of the day, I still felt behind. That realization sent me down an unexpected path during my morning journaling session and led to an uncomfortable truth: my stress isn't coming from a lack of effort. It's coming from my inability to emotionally register completion. In this episode, I'm talking about productivity, retirement, unfinished to-do lists, invisible labor, and the way many of us automatically convert progress into remaining obligation. If you've ever finished a successful day only to focus on what didn't get done, this conversation is for you. In this episode: Why getting things done doesn't always feel satisfyingThe difference between unfinished tasks and actual failureLife after careers, businesses, and major responsibilitiesLearning to recognize progress instead of chasing completionWhy "enough" might be the skill we're really trying to learnBecause maybe the problem isn't that we're behind. Maybe we've forgotten what enough feels like. #LivingOnTheVirg #PodcastLife #WomenOver50 #MidlifeWomen #LifeAfter50 #RealLifeConversations #PersonalGrowth #SelfReflection #MindsetShift #RetirementLife #ProductivityWithoutPressure #EnoughIsEnough #JournalingJourney #IntentionalLiving #WomenInMidlife #LifeTransitions #SelfAwareness #PersonalDevelopment #ManagingVsLiving #MidlifeMindset Follow up on YouTube! What Seven Women Taught Me About Building a Life

A month ago, I set out to interview seven women in business. What I thought would be a series about entrepreneurship, leadership, money, and success quickly became something much deeper. Over the course of these conversations, I found myself listening less for business strategies and more for the life lessons hiding underneath them. Different industries. Different decades. Different personalities. Yet the same themes kept showing up again and again: resilience, family, responsibility, courage, mentorship, adaptability, and the willingness to keep moving before feeling ready. In this Women in Business Series Wrap-Up, I'm sharing the six biggest lessons these remarkable women taught me—not just about building businesses, but about building meaningful lives. If you've ever wondered whether you're on the right path, whether it's too late to start something new, or what success really looks like in this season of life, I think you'll find something here for yourself. In This Episode: Why nobody followed a straight pathThe power of "do it scared"Why the hardest part isn't the businessFamily as a driving force behind successThe surprising traits these women sharedMentorship, legacy, and lifting others upWhat this series taught me about my own next chapterFollow & Connect Living on the Virg is a lifestyle podcast about real life—the fun parts, the messy parts, and what they're trying to teach us. In this episode of Living on the Virg, Virginia heads to beautiful Temecula wine country for a conversation with Christina Falik, owner of Gershon Bachus Vintners — better known as GBV Winery. Finding Yourself While Building Something New | Women in Business Series

This one feels close to home. I’m sitting down with Lonna Lewis — a former stay-at-home mom who stepped into something new and, alongside her daughters, built a successful business. We talk about what that transition really looked like — the identity shifts, the uncertainty, and what it means to start something when it wasn’t part of the original plan. This isn’t a story about overnight success. It’s about figuring it out, showing up, and creating something that actually works for your life. And somewhere along the way, she didn’t just build a business — she found herself too. If you’ve ever felt that pull to do something different, or wondered what it really looks like to start over in a new season, this conversation will stay with you #LivingOnTheVirg #WomenInBusiness #PodcastLife #FemaleEntrepreneur #SmallBusinessOwner #MidlifeWomen #WomenOver40 #StartingOver #MidlifeShift #RealLifeStories #ItsNotTooLate #BuildYourLife Follow up on YouTube! From Journalism to Impact: Why She Chose Purpose Over Everything | Women in Business Series

This conversation goes way beyond business. I’m sitting down with Kelli Ann Collins — a former journalist turned entrepreneur who has built a career at the intersection of media, tech, and social impact. We talk about where she started, what shaped her early drive, and how her path evolved — including moments that were far more intense and unpredictable than expected. From covering major national tragedies to walking away from traditional success and starting over, this episode is about reinvention, risk, and what happens when you choose purpose over everything else. If you’ve ever questioned your direction, felt pulled toward something bigger, or wondered what it really takes to build something meaningful — this one will stay with you. #LivingOnTheVirg #WomenInBusiness #PodcastLife #FemaleEntrepreneur #EntrepreneurJourney #WomenInLeadership #BusinessPodcast #PurposeDriven #CareerReinvention #BuildSomethingMeaningful #RealLifeConversations #MidlifeGrowth Follow up on YouTube! April Furnace on Freedom, Clients, and Real Life Behind the Chair | Women in Business Series

In this Women in Business conversation, I’m sitting down with April Furnace — a cosmetologist who’s built a 24-year career behind the chair. This episode is such a real look at a side of business that doesn’t always get talked about — the hands-on, people-centered kind. We talk about how she got started, what it actually takes to build and keep a clientele, and what her day-to-day really looks like. But we also get into the deeper layers — the emotional side of working so closely with people, the flexibility that comes with being in control of your own income, and the reality of building a life around a non-traditional career. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to build a business that’s rooted in real relationships, this one is for you. #LivingOnTheVirg #PodcastLife #MidlifePodcast #LifestylePodcast #NewPodcastEpisode #WomenInBusiness #WomenEntrepreneurs #WomenSupportingWomen #FemaleFounders #BusinessInRealLife #HairstylistLife #SalonLife #BehindTheChair #BeautyIndustry #ServiceBasedBusiness #RealLifeConversations #MidlifeReflections #LifeInTheMiddle #FreedomAndFlexibility #BuildingYourOwnLife Follow up on YouTube!
