The Word Was Raised Again - GC Chapter 9 The Swiss Reformer

THE WORD WAS RAISED AGAIN (The Great Controversy Chapter 9 – The Swiss Reformer) By Zeres Vitto VERSE 1 — Light in the Alps In Alpine lands where shadows lay, A faithful voice broke through the gray; No power of men nor ancient claim Could bind the truth in Jesus’ name. He searched the Word in ancient tongue, Where living streams of truth are sung; No priestly claim above the Word— But Christ revealed through Scripture heard. REFRAIN The Word was raised, was raised again— Its light now shines among all men. No earthly power, no sword of might Can stand against advancing light. From Zurich’s streets the call was heard: “Return, O souls, unto the Word!” VERSE 2 — The Witness Restored Long had the sacred pages lain, Obscured by fear and bound by chain; Through darkest years its voice was low, Yet faithful hearts preserved its glow. But now the light broke forth again, And truth was preached to common men; The Scriptures spoke with power restored— Revealing Christ, the living Lord. REFRAIN The Word was raised, was raised again— Its light now shines among all men. No earthly power, no sword of might Can stand against advancing light. From Zurich’s streets the call was heard: “Return, O souls, unto the Word!” VERSE 3 — The Rising Conflict The conflict grew as truth advanced, And many hearts by grace were cleansed; For the apostate church with civil might Made war against unfolding light. Yet truth is not by force sustained, Nor conscience ever rightly chained; For Christ before the judge proclaimed: “My kingdom is not of this world.” VERSE 4 — A Work Unfinished The light increased, yet not complete— More truth remained to be revealed; For human rule still shaped the creed, Where Christ alone the church should lead. The call moves on through time’s long span, Restoring truth by Heaven’s plan; God’s remnant sound the final cry: “Come out, My people—follow God!” BRIDGE — Final Message Now angels fly through heaven’s height, Proclaiming truth with urgent might; To every land and tribe and tongue— The everlasting gospel sung. “Fear God! Give glory—judgment near! Worship the Maker of heaven and earth!” Babylon falls—her systems flee, “Come out, My people—now be free!” REFRAIN — FINAL The Word was raised, still shines today— Its truth no power can take away. Fear God and give Him glory due, Creator holy, just, and true. From every land the cry is heard: “Worship the Lord—obey His Word!” OUTRO From Zwingli’s voice to final cry, God’s truth goes forth—it cannot die.

    Ang Dios Mismo ang Nagbayad

I'm back to translating songs. This one is a Tagalog adaptation of God Paid the Cost Himself in Christ, simply titled Ang Diyos Mismo ang Nagbayad. The outro of this song has always been a challenge and it is even more challenging when singing in Tagalog. Enjoy the message of the song. #zeresvitto #tagaloghymns #angDiosmismoangnagbayad #GodpaidthecostHimselfinChrist #Jesussaves #everyone Ang Dios Mismo ang Nagbayad Tagalog adaptation of God Paid the Cost Himself in Christ Original and Tagalog by Zeres Vitto Talata 1 – Genesis Sa Eden nang tao’y nagkasala, Ipinangako ng Panginoon, Ang Binhing darating ang magbabayad, Ang tao ay di pababayaan. Amen

God Paid the Cost Himself in Christ

"God Paid the Cost Himself in Christ” By Zeres Vitto #zeresvitto #GodpaidthecostHimselfinChrist #everlastinggospel #everyone Verse 1 – Genesis In Eden’s dawn when trust was torn, A promise whispered through the fall, The Seed would come, the cost be borne, God would not abandon all. On Moriah’s hill a father climbed, Wood on the back of the promised son, The knife was raised, the heart was tried, But Heaven said, “It is not done.” Pre-Chorus A ram appeared where death had stood, Blood in the thorns, mercy understood, A shadow cast across all time, Of love that pays what law requires. Chorus God paid the cost Himself in Christ, His Son stepped down, the Lamb was slain. What justice asked, love sacrificed, Grace was written in His pain. From altar stone to Calvary’s tree, From oath to oath, from scar to scar, The price was paid eternally, Behold the cost… behold God’s Lamb! Verse 2 – The Cross No angel stayed the Father’s hand When heaven’s Son hung cursed and torn. The sky grew dark, the earth couldn’t stand, As God hid His face that morn. The fire fell, the wrath was spent, Not on the sinner—but on the Son. The cry was real, the veil was rent, Redemption’s cost forever paid. Pre-Chorus The law was honored, mercy free, The cross became the mercy seat, Where truth and grace in anguish met, And love refused to count the debt. Chorus God paid the cost Himself in Christ, His Son stepped down, the Lamb was slain. What justice asked, love sacrificed, Grace was written in His pain. From altar stone to Calvary’s tree, From oath to oath, from scar to scar, The price was paid eternally, 3:33 Behold the cost… behold God’s Lamb! Verse 3 – Resurrection & Intercession He rose still marked by open wounds, The scars not erased, but glorified. Before the throne, forever He stands, Our living proof, our crucified. Hands that bled now plead our case, Feet once pierced now tread heaven’s temple The wounded Lamb in royal grace Still bears the cost forevermore. Bridge – Revelation And over God's throne a rainbow stands, A covenant sealed by wounded hands. Mercy remembers, judgment past, Love’s vow unbroken, holding fast. The redeemed rise, a living sign, Of blood-bought hope, of grace divine, Every face, every song declares The cost was paid… and we are there. Final Chorus God paid the cost Himself in Christ, The scars still speak though death is gone. Eternal proof of love’s great price, The Lamb still bears what He has done. From Genesis to endless days, From promise sworn to promise sealed, All heaven sings, all time will say: The cost was paid: God’s love revealed. Outro – Eternity No more death, no final tear, Yet still the scars remain in sight, Not as wounds, but as trophies clear, Of love that conquered endless night. And ages roll, yet this remains: A throne, a Lamb, a rainbow bright, God forever remembers the cost, God paid the cost Himself in Christ his love forever we’ll behold

    One Olive Tree

ONE OLIVE TREE By Zeres Vitto #zeresvitto #oneolivetree #everyone Verse 1 At the foot of Sinai the promise came, Yet human vows could not remain; The law is holy, just, and good, But hearts grew dim and lost the light. Then Christ, the promised Seed of old, Fulfilled the covenant by His blood, Now pleads for us before the throne; He calls all souls to come and live. Pre-Chorus Not by descent, nor claim, nor birth, Nor works of men upon the earth; But by the Lamb, the truth, the way, Accepted in Christ in judgment’s hour. Chorus One Olive Tree, one covenant— One Savior, Mediator and Judge. Be grafted in by living faith, abide in Him and live— In Christ alone the branches stand, Abide in Him—the source of life. Verse 2 Some trust in lineage, ancient name, Some trust in works or fervent claim; Not all who spring from Israel’s line Are heirs within the promise divine. Branches are broken through unbelief, And stand by faith restored in Him; Grafted in by grace alone, All stand by faith before the throne. Pre-Chorus 2 No temple built by human hands, No earthly rites can cleanse from sin; Our High Priest ministers above, And intercedes for us within.. Chorus One Olive Tree, one covenant— One Savior, Mediator and Judge. Be grafted in by living faith, abide in Him and live— In Christ alone the branches stand, Abide in Him—the source of life. Bridge The hour of judgment now has come, The books are opened—every one; Our names reviewed before the throne, By Christ who claims us as His own. No other name beneath the sky, No other way by which we rise; The law stands firm, yet grace is shown— In Christ alone we stand by faith. Verse 3 The everlasting gospel sounds To every nation, tribe, and tongue: “Fear God and give Him glory now, For judgment’s hour has now begun.” Babylon falls—her wine deceives, Her falsehood binds the souls of men; “Come out of her, My people, now, And worship Him who made all things. And worship not the beast or mark, But stand with Christ, the Lamb of God.” Final Chorus One Olive Tree, one covenant— One Savior, Mediator and Judge. Be grafted in by living faith—before probation close— In Christ alone the branches stand, Abide in Him while mercy flows. Outro One covenant fulfilled in Christ, One law engraved in heart and mind; One Judge, one Lamb, one destiny— Abide in Christ, the Olive Tree.

  5. Weighed and Blotted Out

    MAR 23

    Weighed and Blotted Out

WEIGHED AND BLOTTED OUT By Zeres Vitto VERSE 1 — The Holy Throne In heaven’s courts the temple stands, The ark upholds God’s law divine; Ten commandments by His own hand— His covenant through all of time. The Sabbath bears His sacred seal, The Lord of all—both near and far; Of worlds unseen and angels bright, Before this earth and all its stars. REFRAIN The books are opened before the throne, Each life revealed, each deed made known; God’s holy law—the measure true, It weighs the heart and searches you. While mercy pleads, names yet may stand, Through Jesus’ blood, by pierced hand; When sins are retained at judgment’s call, Their names are blotted out. VERSE 2 — Profaned Worship Strange fire burns on sacred ground, Man’s will now leads where God has spoken; His holy law is trampled down, His sacred covenant lies broken. They touch the ark with human hands, They change the times the Lord has set; “They command what God has never said, And claim it truth—deceived, unafraid.” VERSE 3 — The Feast of Babylon A golden cup is lifted high, The wine of error floods the land; They praise their gods, deny the Most High, Profaning what God made holy. Like Belshazzar in pride and sin, Who knew the truth yet chose the lie— The hand that wrote now testifies: “Thou art weighed—and found wanting.” REFRAIN The books are opened before the throne, Each life revealed, each deed made known; God’s holy law—the measure true, It weighs the heart and searches you. While mercy pleads, names yet may stand, Through Jesus’ blood, by pierced hand; When sins are retained at judgment’s call, Their names are blotted out. VERSE 4 — The Final Test Where truth once shone within the courts, Abominations rise before Him; A decree goes forth—compelling all To worship powers set against Him The beast receives the worship claimed, Yet all who bow, bow down to Satan; A mark is set on hand or mind— But those who keep His Sabbath stand. BRIDGE — Close of Probation The door will close—no voice within, No blood to plead, no grace extended; The censer falls—the work is done, The day of mercy now is ended. From out the temple angels go, With bowls of wrath unmixed with grace; The plagues descend on those who chose To cast God’s truth and law away. FINAL REFRAIN The books are opened—even now, Before the Judge let every heart bow. God’s holy law—the measure true— In Christ alone you’re counted true. For when His work of grace is done, No voice to plead, no intercessor; Each case is fixed for life or death— Once weighed—no change can e’er be made.

  6. Babylon is Fallen, is Fallen - Revised Version

    MAR 22

Babylon is Fallen, is Fallen - Revised Version

Babylon Is Fallen, Is Fallen Revised By Zeres Vitto VERSE 1 — Ancient Rebellion From Babel’s tower nations rose To build kingdoms against their God; But heaven scattered all their pride When truth was lost and boasting stood. From Nimrod’s reign to Daniel’s day A golden empire ruled the earth; And kingdoms rise and crumble down— For Christ the Rock will end their boast. REFRAIN Babylon is fallen, is fallen— Her fading glory turns to dust. Her wine deceives the nations still With doctrines born of fraud and lust. Yet God still calls His people, “Come out and stand apart!” For Babylon is fallen— Let truth awaken every heart. VERSE 2 — The Medieval Power Through ages dark a power arose Where church and state were tightly wed; Traditions clothed in Scripture’s robe Replaced God’s law immutable. A woman rides the scarlet beast, Her golden cup with error’s wine; The beast she rides wore out the saints— And prophecy shows its power shall rise again. REFRAIN Babylon is fallen, is fallen— Her kingdoms cannot stand. She alters times and sacred law Against the Lord’s command. But Christ preserves His remnant, Who guard His Word and Name; For Babylon is fallen— And soon will drink God’s wrath proclaimed. VERSE 3 — The End-Time Confederacy Three spirits foul like croaking frogs Form earth’s unholy trinity— The Dragon—through spiritualism works, The Beast—Papal Rome’s apostasy, The False Prophet—fallen Protestantism, Speaking with a dragon’s breath. They bind the nations to one creed, To enforce the Beast’s decree. The world drinks deep deception’s wine Till drunkenness leads to their fall. REFRAIN Babylon is fallen, is fallen— Her sins reach Heaven’s throne. Her merchants mourn her fallen throne, Lament her power overthrown. But God calls forth His people, “Come out, My people dear! Partake not in her judgments— For heaven’s hour draws near!” VERSE 4 — The Loud Cry & Deliverance A mighty angel now descends To swell the threefold message loud; God’s glory shines through all His saints As latter rain gives power to speak. Aloud they cry, “Come out of her, Before probation’s door is closed!” The Shepherd’s voice rings loud and clear— Countless arise to heed the call. They worship Him who made all things Receive His Sabbath and His seal. FINAL REFRAIN (CLIMAX) Babylon is fallen, is fallen— Her crumbling throne revealed. Her union with the powers of earth Enforces Sunday sacredness. The Mark of the Beast spreads abroad— The Loud Cry goes forth from on high. Countless enter the Shepherd’s fold, Sealed before probation’s close. TAG (FINAL DECLARATION) Babylon is fallen, is fallen— Her crumbling throne revealed. Her dried-up Euphrates clears the way— The battle lines of earth are drawn!
