When the Letter Makes You Miss Jesus

What if we have become so committed to defending our interpretation of Scripture that we have missed the One Scripture has always been pointing to? In this episode of She Quietly Rises, Shantel explores the difference between knowing the letter of the Word and knowing the heart of Christ. From the Pharisees to the finished work of the cross, she unpacks why Jesus fulfilled the law, why fear-based teaching keeps believers looking at darkness instead of the Light, and what it truly means to tear down strongholds. Together, we explore Hebrews 6, the meaning of anastauroō, “to crucify afresh,” the significance of Ethanim, “ever-flowing,” and why the finished work of Jesus is more than a doctrine. It is the place we are called to live from. This episode also confronts teachings that make believers more conscious of demons, curses, and spiritual attacks than they are of Jesus. If a message continually exalts the enemy above the cross, leaves people fearful and suspicious, or teaches them to live as though Christ’s sacrifice was not enough, it has missed the heart of the gospel. For the woman who is healing, breaking religious patterns, and learning to trust the heart of God again, this episode is an invitation to lay down fear, renew your mind, and become more conscious of Jesus than of the enemy. Because sometimes quietly rising means allowing Jesus to tear down the strongholds in your own mind before you try to tear down anything around you. Quietly rising is not only about finding your voice. It is also about releasing the beliefs that kept you bound. It is allowing truth to replace fear, freedom to replace bondage, and Jesus to become the center again. The gospel is not about becoming experts on darkness. It is about becoming witnesses to the Light. The cross is finished. Jesus is enough. And His life still flows.

    Healing Is Returning Home

Welcome to the very first episode of She Quietly Rises. For years, I believed healing was about finding myself. Becoming stronger.Becoming better.Becoming someone new. But what if healing isn't finding yourself at all? What if healing is returning home? In this episode, I share a revelation that came while listening to a song I had written called She Quietly Rises. A single lyric stopped me in my tracks: "Back to the little girl God created before the world told you who to become." That moment led me to revisit Jesus' words about becoming like a little child and opened a deeper conversation about identity, healing, the rooms of the heart, and God's desire to dwell in every part of us. We'll explore: ✨ Why healing is not becoming someone new✨ Returning to who God created you to be✨ The hidden rooms of the heart we often keep locked away✨ Why God opens those rooms—not to shame us for the wounds, but to fill them with His love✨ How healing the little girl within changes everything If you've ever felt disconnected from yourself, trapped in old patterns, exhausted from carrying what was never yours to carry, or longing for deeper healing, this conversation is for you. Because what stays hidden gets repeated. But what gets healed changes generations. 💗 If this episode resonates with you, leave a comment that says RETURN HOME and let me know if you'd like me to release the full version of the song She Quietly Rises. #SheQuietlyRises #FaithHealingFreedom #HealingIsReturningHome #ChristianPodcast #HealingJourney #Boundaries #BreakingPatterns #ReturnHome #FaithAndHealing #RootCauseHealing
