The Great D&D Halloween One Shot Bracket (S2E19)

In this episode, we’re getting into Spooky Season mode! We share a TTRPG to play with real candles that get blown out to progress the story, and a werewolf-themed homebrew druid subclass. Then we put 8 spooky one shots through a playoff bracket, to determine which one would be the best to play at a Halloween session. And finally, we take a quiz to see which D&D classes we’d be IRL… We will be away, so the second October episode will be an episode that was previously only released on Patreon: we make a roll table of haunted house traps, and play a game of 2 DMs 1 Player at a costume party! Drafting D&D items to cheat on an exam (S2E18)

In this episode, we share our second show & tell items including a pumpkin spice-themed cozy RPG, a solo journalling game based on tarot cards, and thoughts & opinions on the D&D Heroes of the Borderlands starter set. We also play a round of Fantasy Fantasy Draft that involves Kelly doing a sexy dance, 2 of Laurenne’s crushes being drafted, and Alec being the voice of reason. And as (almost) always, we end with a game of 2 DMs 1 Player that includes an above-average amount of nipple-touching and a centaur that won’t descend a flight of stairs. A Paladin Homebrew Inspired by “The Odyssey” (S2E17)

In this episode, we share our first Show & Tell items of the month, that include a homebrew Paladin subclass inspired by Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”, a “The Bear”-inspired TTRPG played in real time to mimic the stress of working in a kitchen, and a solo RPG that allows you to create playlists as a radio show host – and you might even get to hear your playlist on the game creator’s real radio show! We also start to build out our cozy campaign characters (that might both be artificers?), and end the episode with a very silly round of 2 DMs 1 Player. Is this the best character Kelly’s ever come up with? And will we ever see him again? Only time will squirt… I mean, tell. If you have any word suggestions for 2 DMs 1 Player, or scenario suggestions for future rounds of Fantasy Fantasy Draft, please feel free to drop them in the comments! A Very Rat-Forward Episode (S2E16)

In this episode, we share our final Show & Tell items of the month: an adventure that Kelly believes to be the best low-level adventure for new players, a compendium of rat monsters, and a solo journalling TTRPG where you can go on a date with a gelatinous cube. We also play a game of Fantasy Fantasy Draft, with a listener submitted prompt: prepping and running a TTRPG. Finally, we cap this episode off with a round of 2 DMs 1 Player where Alec tries to find an outfit for a rat who may or may not be his friend (we’re still unsure). The World’s Smallest TTRPG (S2E15)

In this episode, Kelly tries REALLY hard to get Sly Flourish on the show with his show & tell item (which might be Sly-related). We also share a one-page game that encourages you to get outside, and the world’s teeniest-tiniest TTRPG inspired by The Borrowers. Then we spend some time planning out a cozy adventure setting for our next actual play, including the location, some NPCs, and some town traditions. Finally, we wrap things up with a game of 2 DMs 1 Player where Kelly gets to play an unemployed raccoon wearing a fedora, a belt, and nothing else. What Happens If You Drink Goblin Bathwater? (S2E14)

In this episode, we share our final Show & Tell items of the month: Unearthed Arcana rules for introducing sidekicks in 5e, a free TTRPG one shot where you play as penguins attempting a heist, and a 5e tier one adventure where you have to uncover the criminal conspiracy behind a drug called Goblin Bathwater. We also share some things we’ve been enjoying in our non-D&D lives (if you can believe it!), and finish off the episode by creating some c-c-cool combos, including interesting multi-class options to maximize your Thunder damage and a one-two punch of spells that might make your DM put their head in their hands and sigh heavily. Using Magic Missile to Win the World Cup (S2E13)

In our very first VIDEO episode, we share our show & tell items: a homebrew druid circle that lets you become an Ent, a book of magical rules and regulations, and a TTRPG where you use your rock collection to make a solar system. We also play a round of Fantasy Fantasy Draft, recruiting people and spells that will help us win a World Cup match, and a silly little game of 2 DMs 1 Player where there may or may not be a sub-basement full of rats. D&D But It's Tax Evasion

In our final episode of the month, we share our second show & tell items, including a way to generate menu items at taverns in different parts of your fantasy world (with a roll table of boons & banes), an adventure you can run if you accidentally TPK all of your players, and a guide for running sports in D&D. Then we play a round of Fantasy Fantasy Draft, selecting celebrity teammates, spells, and magical items that will help us complete a classic fantasy task: doing taxes. Thanks to Ike for the scenario suggestion! If you have a suggestion for our next Fantasy Fantasy Draft game, leave it in the comments for us!
