#53 What I’ve Learned from a Season of Exploring Outer and Inner Landscapes

As Season Two of Create Good Stories comes to a close, Tal reflects on the lessons learned from exploring the landscapes around us—and the ways these outer landscapes can illuminate the inner landscapes of our hearts and minds. Throughout the season, Tal has explored how the natural world can become a powerful and wise teacher, inviting us to look more deeply at ourselves, embrace change, and discover new meaning in the beauty and complexity of life. In this closing episode, he shares some of his key takeaways from the season and reflects on how paying closer attention to the world around us can transform the way we experience the world within us. Show Notes:  Three Books That Inspired This Journey At the end of the episode, Tal shares three books that have influenced his exploration of outer and inner landscapes. The Inner Landscape — John O’Donohue A beautiful exploration of the soul, spirituality, and the hidden depths of our inner lives.Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life — Richard Rohr A thought-provoking exploration of personal growth and the wisdom that comes with life's second half. Tal particularly recommends the chapter The Shadowlands, which explores the importance of recognizing and integrating our shadow selves. The Living Mountain — Nan Shepherd A poetic meditation on the Scottish Highlands and the profound connection between the natural world and our inner experience. A reminder that sometimes the greatest discoveries come not from conquering a landscape, but from learning to truly inhabit it.https://www.instagram.com/taleyre/ https://www.taleyre.com/
