    Welcome to your San Diego County Fair Insider Guide for our grand finale for the 2025 season: Sunday, July 6, 2025. Get ready for a day packed with unique experiences and fan favorites! Your day kicks off early at 10:00 AM with the delightful Puppy Yoga at The Sound before the Fair opens. Once the Fair gates open for general admission, discover the Excellent Gem Experts and Fascinating Faceting demonstrations, or visit the Great American Petting Farm. At noon, explore the Brewery of the Day, catch a Culinary Demonstration, or head to Gascar. You can also learn "How to Grow Perfect Citrus" in the Farm 2 U Exhibit, or head over toward the Arena area to cheer on the ever-popular Swifty Swine Racing Pigs. At 1 PM, enjoy Art Demonstrations, or be entertained by the Pet-tacular Parrot Show and the thrilling Perondis' All-Star Stunt Dog Show. Into the heart of the afternoon at 2:00 PM, you can enjoy the Brendan Prout Band or the roar of Monster Trucks. At 3:00 PM, experience old-fashioned Butter Making, or join the Seed Spitting Contest in the Farm. As the afternoon winds down at 4:00 PM, explore "A History of Local Flower Growing," or watch hypnotist Jeff Martin at work. Early evening at 5:00 PM brings the beauty of Ballet Folklórico El Tapatío, and more Monster Trucks. At 5:30 PM, you can try Salsa Dancing or enjoy more performances by The Perondis' All-Star Stunt Dog Show. At 7:30 PM, Los Tucanes de Tijuana rounds out the Toyota Summer Concert Series on the Corona Grandstand Stage. Finally, at 8 PM, experience more Monster Trucks and The Flying Royals.     Welcome to your San Diego County Fair Insider Guide for what to expect on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Here's a look at today's exciting schedule: When we open at 11 AM, a variety of activities begin. Enjoy Bluegrass Music Day at the Fair, try your hand at Dig for Treasure, or listen to the Euphoria Brass Band. Discover the Excellent Gem Experts and Fascinating Faceting demonstrations. Visit the Great American Petting Farm, experience the K-Pop Festival, or explore Plumeria Day. Don't miss the Small Animal Master Showmanship and Sphere-making Demonstration. Later in the morning, at 11:45 AM, take a Gems & Minerals Docent Tour. At noon, even more events kick off. See the Beef Cattle Show, observe Chair Caning and Lacemaking Demonstrations, or watch the Community Quilt come to life. There's also a Culinary Demonstration, Gascar, Intro to Coin Collecting, a Ladybug Release, and "Let's Plant Smarter Gardens Together." You can also participate in an Origami Make & Take, enjoy SM ROX, see a Spinning Demonstration, or cheer on the Swifty Swine Racing Pigs. The Student Showcase Fashion Show, Weaving & Spinning Demonstration and Make and Take, Winery of the Day, and Your Produce Man are also available. At 1:30 PM, experience Fun With Floral and The Flying Royals. Moving into the afternoon at 2:00 PM, you can find Farmyard Follies, a Fine Art Docent Tour, "Let's Plant Smarter Gardens Together," and Monster Trucks. Learn from the San Diego Pollinator Alliance and enjoy The Vaquitos. At 2:30 PM, there's another Culinary Demonstration, a session on Ending Naughty Dog Behaviors, Fiesta Folklorico, and more Swifty Swine Racing Pigs. At 3:00 PM, learn about Butter Making, witness another Ladybug Release, enjoy Milk Tasting, or join the Seed Spitting Contest.     What to expect: July 4, 2025

    Welcome to your San Diego County Fair Insider Guide to what to expect on Independence Day: Friday, July 4th, 2025! Beyond the classic rides, games, food, and shopping, your Fair admission opens up a world of discovery. Throughout the day, make sure to check out ongoing attractions such as the Swifty Swine pig races, the Flying Royals, the Pet-Tacular Parrot Show, the Great American Petting Farm, the amazing Wilder Show and more. If you're looking for unique demonstrations and shows, there's plenty to see! Witness "Monster Trucks" in action at various times in the Del Mar Arena -- and definitely check out our 8 p.m. glow show! Your Fair admission includes musical performances on multiple stages, including a 9 p.m. show on the Paddock stage from a Toby Keith tribute act. We also have numerous Fourth of July festivities that start with a parade down our Main Avenue at 2 p.m. The parade will feature local fire departments, entertainers, and more. And of course, no Fourth of July celebration is complete without fireworks! At 6 p.m., we have a sensory-friendly fireworks show inside The Sound. This show is thoughtfully designed for individuals of all ages who experience sensory processing differences, including those with autism and PTSD. This inclusive event offers the joy and wonder of fireworks in a more gentle, comfortable environment. At 9 p.m., we have our annual Fireworks Spectacular. For an enhanced experience, you can secure reserved seating for the fireworks in the Grandstand. And remember, you don't have to leave after the Fireworks show. Stick around a bit to avoid the rush for the exits. Try some rides, enjoy some games, grab a dessert, and listen to some live music. It's Friday night at the Fair. What could be better?     What to expect: July 2, 2025

    Welcome to your San Diego County Fair Insider Guide, bringing you the scoop on what to expect at the Fair on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025. Get ready for a day packed with entertainment and excitement! Today is a Pepsi Pay-One-Price Wristband day, meaning you can ride any ride from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a $55 ride wristband. Kicking off the day with music, catch Tom Griesgraber, a master of the Chapman Stick, performing at the O'Brien Stage from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. For some thrilling animal action, the Perondis' All-Star Stunt Dog Show will have multiple performances throughout the day at 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 5:30 PM. Also, don't miss the ever-popular Swifty Swine Racing Pigs with races at 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM, 4:30 PM, 6:00 PM, and 7:30 PM. And for some inter-species racing fun, Gascar is happening at 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM at Family Funville. If you're a fan of high-octane excitement, the Monster Trucks will be roaring into the Del Mar Arena for shows at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 8:00 PM. For unique theatrical and comedy experiences, check out The Flying Royals with shows at 1:30 PM, 5:00 PM, and 8:00 PM in Family Funville. Also, the hilarious and athletic Mark Wilder Show can be seen at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on the Avenue of the Palms, and at 5:00 PM on Livestock Way. In the afternoon, you can enjoy "Go Scarlet" at the Michelob ULTRA Avenue Stage from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, offering more entertainment. On our Grandstand stage tonight, we have music from Third Eye Blind. And over at The Sound, we have comedian Tumua performing at 8 p.m. Both shows requires a separate ticket, but Fair admission is included in the price. As evening approaches, prepare for a soulful performance by Michael Minelli at the Chevrolet Paddock Stage at 9:00 PM. This show is included with your Fair admission.     Welcome to your Insider Guide to what to expect at the San Diego County Fair on Sunday, June 29, 2025. Today is the final day for the Flyball Competition and Dock Dogs at the Del Mar Arena. Stop by to see amazing dogs in action. At 12:45 PM, get ready for the Pet People Costume Contest. And all day long, you can visit our "Pets Rock" theme exhibit to see adoptable animals and see the world through a pet's eyes. Shows and activities throughout the day include the Euphoria Brass Band, the Swifty Swine Pig Races, stunt dog shows, the always entertaining Wilder Show, the Pet-Tacular Parrot Show, and the Flying Royals. Later in the evening, at 6:30 PM, enjoy Ballet Folklórico de Fallbrook, a Digital Tool Woodworking Demonstration, and a Goat Milking Demonstration. At 7 PM, you can also catch hypnotist Jeff Martin, listen to Acoustic Spot, or buy tickets to see Banda El Recodo and Banda Los Recoditos on the Corona Grandstand Stage. Later, at 9 PM, you can enjoy Dead Man's Party, a tribute to Oingo Boingo, on the Chevrolet Paddock Stage. As the fair winds down at 10 PM, you can still catch Dellinger Entertainment and SOULMARA.
