    Coco, Generational Trauma, and Judgement

Hey baddies! 💕 Welcome back to another episode of the Peaceful Baddie Podcast! ✨ Today's Affirmation: Today, I focus on what I can control and release what I cannot. In this episode, we're reflecting on the importance of recognizing our own power. When we spend too much time focusing on the things outside of our control, we risk losing sight of what we are capable of changing within ourselves and our communities. 🎶 Music Monday: We're warming our hearts with Family Reunion, a song that reminds us to cherish the imperfect but meaningful moments we share with the people we love. Life moves quickly, and sometimes the most valuable thing we can do is simply be present with one another. 🎬 Breaking Generational Cycles: Inspired by Disney Pixar's Coco, we explore generational trauma, family traditions, and the courage it takes to challenge beliefs passed down through generations. As society, our environments, and our understanding of the world evolve, we have the opportunity to question what we've been taught, embrace new perspectives, and discover healthier ways to show up for ourselves and our communities. 💭 The Weight of Judgment: We're also unpacking how judgment, even when it comes from a place of good intentions, can create negativity rather than understanding. How we communicate our concerns matters. If our goal is to cultivate peaceful, positive, and loving environments, we must learn to approach others with compassion rather than criticism. Tune in for a conversation about personal power, family, growth, and the importance of creating more love and understanding in our lives. 💗 Remember, baddies: You can honor where you come from while still choosing where you want to go. 🌷

Forgiving Thyself, Coraline and Love Bombing

🍂 Hey y'all, welcome back to another episode! Happy Monday and HAPPY FALL! 🎃🍎 It is officially October for real, y'all, and I have some stories from my weekend — including a trip to an apple orchard 🍎🍂 and the concert I somehow managed to miss 😂. But first, our affirmation is all about forgiving ourselves for caring too much about what other people think of us. 🤍 Sometimes we get so caught up in being perceived, liked, understood, or validated by other people that we forget that, deep down, we don't actually need anyone else's validation to be who we are. And instead of beating ourselves up for letting other people's opinions have too much power, we can practice giving ourselves grace, releasing the need for approval, and moving forward without carrying that weight. 🧘🏾‍♀️✨ Because confidence isn't having a chip on your shoulder — it's being secure enough to live your life without constantly needing everyone else to agree with you. And THEN we're talking about Coraline. 🧵🗝️👀 For the rest of October — and honestly, the rest of fall — I'll be doing a little series where I talk about some of my favorite fall movies 🍂🎬 and the lessons they can teach us about peace, peaceful living, and being a Peaceful Baddie. Today's movie is Coraline — and we're talking about what Coraline's experience with the Other Mother can teach us about gratitude, recognizing love bombing, and understanding that something being appealing doesn't necessarily mean it's good for us. 👀🖤 Tune in, baddies! 💕🎧
