Anson Belt & Buckle: Step up your belt game this fall — get 2 bonus pieces FREE with the Box Set at https://ansonbelt.com/thundersept The Oklahoma City (OKC) Thunder may have fell short of their ultimate goal, failing to repeat as NBA Champions in the 2026 NBA Playoffs. With that being said, they still have the best future of any team in the NBA. ESPN agrees, as the Thunder topped their list of "NBA Future Power Rankings". But upon closer examination, the article believes that OKC will get this done with a different group than their current: they boldly predict OKC to shift from a big three of NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA), All-NBA Chet Holmgren, and All-NBA Jalen (JDub) Williams, trading one of those pieces to form a big two. Gabriel Ebersole of Thunder Digest breaks down this development, including the reasons a move could potentially be in order, the money moves of this offseason, and the up and coming OKC players that could be affected, including Ajay Mitchell, Cason Wallace, and Jared McCain. --- Thunder Digest covers the latest reports, news and rumors regarding the Oklahoma City Thunder.
