This podcast is an audible Bible where Lynn reads straight from the Bible in the New Living Translation. The New Living Translation is based on the most recent scholarship in the theory of translation. The challenge for the translators was to create a text that would make the same impact in the life of modern readers that the original text had for the original readers. In the New Living Translation, this is accomplished by translating entire thoughts (rather than just words) into natural, everyday English. This podcast is a companion to the Living the Word Out Loud podcast.

    Takeaways Trust in the Lord for protection is paramount. God's presence offers comfort and safety. The righteous will see God's face and experience His love. Chasing after other gods leads to troubles. God is our inheritance and blessing. Even in darkness, we should not fear. The Lord conceals us in times of trouble. Waiting patiently for the Lord is essential. God's promises serve as our armor. The Lord watches over us constantly.
