Press Man Coverage | The Wildcat, the Fumble, and a 0-4 Start | Titans at Ravens REACTION

Send us Fan Mail The Titans shut Baltimore out after halftime and still lost. Lamar Jackson left at the half with an ankle. Tyler Huntley was 8-of-9 for 63 yards. Tennessee did not give up another point. The score was already 24-7, and that hole was built before the break. In this solo recap of Titans 18, Ravens 24, we go through the series that decided it: first-and-goal at the 8, trailing 14-7, seven or eight straight snaps to Tony Pollard, zero passes, Cam Ward not under center, and a wildcat direct snap on fourth-and-goal from the 2. Stuffed. Baltimore answered with a 98-yard touchdown drive. That is a 14-point swing on one series. Cam Ward’s line was his best of the year: 20-of-31, 222 yards, a touchdown, an interception, and a 22-yard run that is a career long. Carnell Tate had the first real skill-player proof of the season — 9 catches, 145 yards — then fumbled at the end of a 33-yarder and watched Baltimore kick a 64-yarder. Derrick Henry was held to 73 yards on 23 carries. The defense did its job after the break. The offense still does not have a red-zone identity. In this episode: -The box score, and why two turnovers became 10 points -Daboll in the red zone, and the wildcat with the quarterback on the sideline -Cam Ward’s best game, and why it still is not a franchise leap -Carnell Tate’s 145, the fumble, and the missing touchdown -Why the offensive line is no longer the excuse -The snap counts: Anthony Hill at 100%, Cedric Gray at 28 They lost by six because the only series that could have tied it never threatened a pass. What should Daboll have called on fourth-and-goal? Drop it in the comments. Press Man Coverage is your home for all things Tennessee Titans. Press Man Coverage | When Do No. 1 QBs Actually Show It? Cam Ward’s Timeline

Send us Fan Mail This is not a “bench him” episode. It is not a “he’s the guy, shut up” episode. It is a timeline episode. The Titans are 0-3. Cam Ward is 20 games into his NFL career. Next is Baltimore. Lem goes solo on the only question that actually matters: how long is too long for a No. 1 pick? We put Ward next to the recent No. 1 quarterbacks and look at when the label usually sticks. Trevor Lawrence was 17 interceptions and 3-14 as a rookie, then 25 touchdowns and a playoff win in Year 2. Bryce Young got benched in Year 2 and is still the starter in Year 4. Caleb Williams, Kyler Murray, and Joe Burrow all had a Year 2 jump you could point at. Baker Mayfield got worse. Jared Goff’s label came after a trade. Ward’s Year 1 was 3,169 yards, 15 touchdowns, and a 3-14 team, with a late-season heater nobody should pretend didn’t happen. Through three games in 2026 he is 55-of-88 for 504 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Completion percentage is up. Sack rate is down. The explosives and the scoring are not. The uncomfortable part: he got the staff change and the premium receiver in Year 2, and it has not popped yet. New coaches. Carnell Tate. Same offensive line problem. Three games is still a slump, not a verdict. In this episode: Where Cam actually sits after 20 gamesThe No. 1 chart: who jumped in Year 2, who got benched, who never stuckWhy the room around him mattersThe three clocks: October is too soon, January is the grade, spring 2027 is the decisionWhat “improvement” should actually look like before BaltimoreThree weeks is too soon to bury a No. 1 pick. A full Year 2 that looks like Year 1, with a better staff and a top-5 receiver, is how teams decide the clock ran out. What’s your clock on Cam? Drop it in the comments. Press Man Coverage | Stats Don’t Lie: Titans Won the Tape and Lost the Game - Titans vs Eagles RECAP

Send us Fan Mail The Tennessee Titans had the Philadelphia Eagles right where they wanted them. 20-17. Two minutes left. Two Jalen Hurts interceptions already in the bank. Cam Ward with two rushing touchdowns. Jeffery Simmons wrecking the interior. And then Hurts drove 65 yards in nine plays and hit Darius Cooper with nine seconds on the clock. Final: Eagles 24, Titans 20. Titans fall to 0-2. This is a solo recap of what actually happened in Nashville — not the vibes, the numbers. We break down: -How Tennessee flipped the Week 1 script (29 rushes, 122 yards, plus-2 in the turnover battle, 5.7 yards per play) -Cam Ward’s 13-of-20 for 183 yards, 0 INT, two 1-yard sneaks… and still -zero big-time throws through two weeks -Amani Hooker’s 92-yard pick and Marcus Harris’ late INT that should have been the win -Why DeVonta Smith (10-117-1) and an 11-of-18 third-down night ended it -Where the Titans rank after two games: 32nd in yards, 30th in passing, 6th in rush EPA, 29th in DVOA, and a PFF panic meter that is already on High The effort was there. The ending was the same old ending. Full episode on YouTube at @OutEastNetwork and on all major audio platforms. Press Man Coverage | Week 1 Was Ugly. Here’s What’s Fair — and What Isn’t

Send us Fan Mail Week 1 in Nashville was ugly. The Jets left Nissan Stadium with a 23-10 win, and four years of Titans frustration walked right into the conversation. In this episode of Press Man Coverage, we break down Titans vs Jets and talk about the difference between fair criticism and pure venom. Some of what we saw is real. Some of it is just the last four seasons boiling over. The tape was rough. Tennessee was outgained 367-195 and managed just 11 first downs. Cam Ward finished 19-of-32 for 140 yards and a touchdown, under pressure all afternoon. The run game never got going. Special teams gifted New York a short field. Breece Hall punched in a score while the Titans had 13 men on the field. The crowd booed the offense off the turf. There were slivers: Joey Slye’s first field goal of the year, Carnell Tate’s first NFL catch, and Ward’s touchdown dart to Elic Ayomanor. That was not enough to hide the rest of it. Fair shots are allowed. Blind rage is a different thing. We try to separate the two. What was fair after Week 1? Drop it in the comments. Press Man Coverage | AFC South PLAYER Tier List: Stroud, Lawrence, Taylor, Simmons & More

Send us Fan Mail We built a full AFC South tier list — and ranked the best players from every team in the division. In this episode of Press Man Coverage, we go team by team and put the biggest names on the board: C.J. Stroud, Trevor Lawrence, Daniel Jones, and Cam Ward at quarterback. Jonathan Taylor in the backfield. Nico Collins, Brian Thomas Jr., Travis Hunter, Alec Pierce, Carnell Tate, and Wan’Dale Robinson at receiver. Tyler Warren at tight end. Will Anderson Jr., Danielle Hunter, Derek Stingley Jr., Josh Hines-Allen, Jeffery Simmons, and more on defense. Plus the head coaches — DeMeco Ryans, Liam Coen, Shane Steichen, and Robert Saleh. Texans. Jaguars. Colts. Titans. Every roster got ranked. Some of these placements are going to start fights. Who actually has the best quarterback in the division? Is Jonathan Taylor in a tier by himself? Did we put the right Texans defenders too high — or not high enough? And where the Titans landed is going to make at least one fanbase lose it. That’s the point. Come argue with us. Where would you tier your team’s guys? Drop your list in the comments.
