    202. Arm's Length: Allen Steinberg Talks The Hotelier, Hot Mulligan, New Music & More | Emo Kids Anonymous

Welcome to EKA202! Today we are joined by Allen Steinberg of Arm's Length! Arm's Length has been one of our most requested guest and it was an absolute honor to get to chat with Allen before their show at The Regent in LA. We talk about the bands stateside success, his favorite emo album (hint: it's The Hotelier), Hot Mulligan, When to expect the next record and so much more. We talk about our shared Canadian heritage! Shoutout to Allen's mom who is apparently a huge Sum 41 fan?!? Hell yeah. We talk about the difficulties of crossing over as a Canadian band (both literally and figuratively), as well as what bands from up north we need to keep our eye on. Also, we get the full story of what happened with the infamous backflipping during the serious part of morning person. Truly a gem, thanks Allen! ------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for watching, please subscribe to our show for more content! 200. Leisure Hour: DIY Emo Fleetwood Mac Talk Band History, Hot Takes & A Track by Track Breakdown of Their New LP "...That One Day"

Welcome to EKA200! Today we are joined by Muncie's finest, Isaiah Raegan and Grace aka Leisure Hour! With their upcoming album release on the horizon, we were able to get the whole group together for a nice long sit down where we cover EVERYTHING. From the early days of the band before they found Raegan in college, to the disappointment after the Sunnyside, to retooling and crushing it ever since, LH LLC were kind enough to give us the fool scoop of everything leading up to the new record. The Indianans gave us a behind the scenes look at each track on the "...That One Day" and it gets HEAVY. Shoutout Leisure Hour, this new LP is absolutely their best work yet. Oh yeah, we also talk Spy Kids (and Spy Kids 2), Cheaper By The Dozen 2, New Moon, Twilight and every iteration of Wonka? Sorry, Timothee. ---------------------------- Thanks for watching, please subscribe to our show for more content!
