    137. Filth Is Eternal: Brian McLelland Talks New Record, Joe Trohman and Jacuzzi's on Tour | Emo KIds Anonymous

    Welcome to EKA137! Today we are joined by Brian of Filth Is Eternal, a band based out of Seattle. Their new album Impossible World dropped last month, featuring cameos from a few well known names in the industry, including a gentleman named Joe Trohman! Obviously we discuss how Joe ended up playing on their new record, as well as debating Fall Out Boy's hardcore credibility. Along with this, we also talk about the Seattle DIY scene, the importance of the Vera Project, and the way the scene has changed over the last decade or so. As former DIY venue owners themselves, this was an interesting perspective on the inner workings of the DIY community and we were absolutely floored at the amount of work Brian and the band do to cultivate their community.
