Confessions of a Pirate: HeheStreams, Prison, and Going Legit - Featuring Josh Brody

Fall is here, football season is upon us! You sit down to watch your favorite team only to realize you cant watch the game because you don't have a subscription to every streaming platform...kind of makes you miss the old cable subscription. You aren't alone in that feeling of frustration about the current state of sports or streaming. Our guest today was frustrated, too, and found a workaround to get all of the streaming services in one place. The solution was...creative...and he called it HeheStreams. Eventually, Law Enforcement caught on, and Josh Brody was in front of a judge being sentenced to prison for the time he ran HeheStreams. Today, Josh Brody has "gone legit" and works in cybersecurity. Josh sat down with our hosts to discuss how HeheStreams started, how our laws surrounding cybercrime are outdated, and what society can do to get people who are highly skilled to work for the "good guys" instead of becoming "cyber criminals." ---- Interested in learning more or discussing these topics with Josh?
