I became a huge fan of Jesse’s writing in his PHNX days and was so disappointed when they did lay offs in December. This new podcast is so much better. It’s clean direct and entertaining. Glad to hear his perspectives again.

Been following these two guys for awhile. Huge fan. They are some of the most informed and knowledgeable Dbacks analysts out there. Love the in depth conversations they get into. A must listen if you are a Dbacks fan. Keep it up fellas!

As a former fan of the PHNX podcasts, I was devastated when they laid off their highly capable writing staff this past December including Jesse who I rank among the very best sportswriters covering AZ sports and the Dbacks specifically. It made my day when I discovered he found a new home with the Foul Territory podcast network along with Jack Sommers from SI. Simply, this is the best coverage of the Diamondbacks out there, balancing both a statistical perspective and an old school eye test perspective. Each episode is engaging and efficient without get mired down in tangents or other shenanigans that affected the old PHNX show. Jesse and Jack have made me a regular listener and I hope you reading this will become one too if you have any interest in Arizona’s baseball team.

You simply won’t find any better break down on the Dbacks, both by the numbers and by the eye check. These two have it down! And I am happy Jesse found a new home. Hope this podcast grows!

Jesse and Jack are two of that very best writers who have ever consistently covered the Dbacks. Jack is a legend at this point and Jesse is so talented it’s hard to believe we have him covering just the Dbacks. Just couple episodes in, this is exactly the type of Dbacks podcast I’ve been waiting for— informative, informed, and with two great guys who know the ins and outs of the Dbacks and MLB at large.
