Michael Snyder on Economic Collapse and the Coming Move of God

3 Things You'll Learn Why economist and author Michael Snyder believes an economic collapse is coming, and why he says America, like ancient Israel and Judah, is not listening to the prophets. How God's warnings come from a loving Father who disciplines His children and has good plans for those who turn back to Him. How to prepare practically, emotionally, and spiritually, and why the greatest move of God the world has ever seen is still ahead.   Description: Before the Assyrians took the northern kingdom and before Babylon came for Judah, God sent prophets to warn His people. They mocked them, jailed them, and threw Jeremiah into a pit. Greg Lancaster shares clips of Michael Snyder of the Economic Collapse Blog on the Jim Bakker Show. A former attorney trained to follow the evidence, Snyder brings hard economic data to a large secular audience, and he also listens to the prophetic word. He says America today, like Israel of old, does not want to hear the prophets. Greg explains that these warnings come from a loving Father, not a taskmaster. God disciplines those He loves as sons, and He is saying, I have good plans for you, but you have to turn around. Greg discusses warnings about attacks on the power grid, the chain of events that started World War I, Pat Robertson's comments on the dollar losing its status as the world's reserve currency, and the story of King Zedekiah, who refused Jeremiah's warnings until judgment came. America left the plank a long time ago and is surviving on the mercy and grace of God. Snyder encourages listeners to have cash on hand, store food, water, and supplies, settle in advance that they are willing to die for what they believe, and seek God with all their hearts. Do not look ahead with fear. God is raising up a remnant, and ordinary people will be part of the greatest move of God the world has ever seen, where the only one on the pedestal is Jesus Christ. Greg closes with a word about anointed worship and gifts laid down before God. Scriptures referenced include 2 Kings 17, 2 Kings 25:7, Jeremiah 29:11-13, Jeremiah 38:6, Hebrews 12:7, Colossians 2:8, and Revelation 2:7.   Notable Quotes "I believe America left the plank a long time ago. We are surviving right now on the mercies and the grace of God."   "Don't look ahead with fear because we're not preaching a message of fear. There's hope in understanding what's happening, there's hope in getting prepared."   "In the move of God that's coming, the one that's gonna be put up on a pedestal is Jesus Christ."   "It's better to play an anointed bad song than it is an unanointed good song."   #MichaelSnyder #Prophetic #EconomicCollapse #Remnant #GregLancaster   Begin Your Journey Today! Reaching Refugees for Jesus - The Mission Field Has Come to Us

3 Things You'll Learn Why the refugee crisis is an open door to share God's love with people pushed out of Muslim nations. How hundreds of Muslim refugees in Germany are turning to Christ and being baptized, even at great personal risk. Why God sometimes brings the mission field to us, and why the best days for the church are ahead for those who walk with Him.   Description: What if the mission field came to your doorstep? Greg Lancaster looks at the waves of refugees crossing borders and the fear many people feel. Many of these refugees are being pushed out of Muslim nations because they are Christians, or because they will not submit to Islam. When the noise and distractions of life are cut off, people are confronted with themselves and with God, and Greg says this is the perfect time to tell them how much God loves them and has a plan for their lives. Greg shares a report from Germany, where hundreds of Muslim refugees from Iran and Afghanistan are coming to Christ and being baptized. One new believer says, "I feel like I am born again." Converts who are sent home can face persecution and even death for leaving Islam, yet the pastor believes the power of Christ is at work in their lives. God loves every human being on the face of the earth and does not want anyone to die without knowing Him. Greg calls the church to shake itself out of religious routine and embrace the masses with the Gospel, remembering that Jesus called us to go into all the world and baptize those who believe. God desires communion with us and wants to share His heart with us. Those who choose another direction will eat the fruit of their own choices, but for those who are His, good things are in store. Scriptures referenced include Matthew 28:19, 2 Peter 3:9, and Romans 1:24.   Notable Quotes "God loves every human being on the face of the earth and He wants them to know Him. He doesn't want anybody to die outside of knowing Him."   "This is the opportunity that we can embrace the masses and begin to evangelize."   "For those that are His, good things are in store. The best days for the church are ahead."   #Refugees #Evangelism #MuslimsToChrist #GreatCommission #GregLancaster   Begin Your Journey Today! Jesus didn’t just call us to believe in Him. Is God a Myth A 12-Year-Old Stands for Her Faith

3 Things You'll Learn How a 7th grader named Jordan Wooley stood before her school board after an assignment told students that God is a myth. Why making faith, and even the Pledge of Allegiance, "optional" shows what happens when a nation turns its back on God. Why the question Jesus asked His disciples about who they say He is remains the test for every believer, and how to stand without denying Him like Peter did.   Description: A seventh grade girl was told by her teacher to label God a myth on a graded assignment, and she refused to stay quiet. Greg Lancaster shares the testimony Jordan Wooley gave before her school board. She describes a classroom poll on whether God is fact, opinion, or myth, a teacher who marked anything but "myth" as wrong, and friends who went home in tears. Greg also walks through the text messages she sent her mother that day and a news report where school officials disputed her account, even as other parents backed her up and the paper itself showed it was worth 20 points. Greg commends her boldness at such a young and impressionable age and encourages young people that this is their generation. He points to a sign in a Florida Panhandle school district telling students the Pledge of Allegiance is optional, and asks what would happen if we told our kids that cleaning their room or eating their vegetables was optional. When a nation denies that God exists, believers have to stand like this young girl did. Jesus asked His disciples who people said He was, and then asked who they themselves said He was. Greg explains that eternity rests on that answer. Peter denied Jesus three times and God rescued him in mercy, but today the church is being persecuted around the world and each of us must decide whether we will stand. Greg also warns against division among believers: when God is moving, we must move together. Scriptures referenced include Matthew 16:13-16 and Matthew 26:69-75.   Notable Quotes "Eternity rests on your thoughts, who you think God is to you."   "You're gonna have to pay a price to stand."   "When you see God moving, we've got to move together."   "We're supposed to be confident in who we believe, which is Jesus Christ. And this 12 year old girl set an example for all of us."   #JordanWooley #StandForGod #FaithInSchools #Boldness #GregLancaster   Begin Your Journey Today! Jesus didn’t just call us to believe in Him. Knife of Jerusalem - What Is Being Taught Against the Jews

3 Things You'll Learn How a cleric's call for a "curfew of stabbing" and a baby named "Knife of Jerusalem" reveal what is being taught to stir violence against Jews. Why the "Al-Aqsa is in danger" narrative has been used since the 1930s to incite riots on the Temple Mount, and what archaeologists say about it. Why every well-crafted narrative, about Jerusalem or about Jesus, must be measured against the Word of God.   Description: A cleric in Gaza waves a knife and calls on Palestinians to impose a "curfew of stabbing" to keep Israelis terrorized in their homes. Greg Lancaster shows how this teaching is spreading, as Israelis are stabbed at bus stops and on the street, and even a newborn is named "Knife of Jerusalem" in solidarity with the attacks. Greg calls it taking on the identity of stabbing the apple of God's eye. Greg then shares a news report from Jerusalem's Old City on the battle over the Temple Mount, the site of two Jewish temples and the place Muslims call Al-Aqsa. Archaeologists describe destructive digging under the Temple Mount and volunteers who still sift through the discarded material to save artifacts. Experts explain how the claim that Jews want to destroy the mosques goes back to the 1930s and still sparks violence today. Greg discusses surveillance cameras on the Temple Mount, efforts to remove Jerusalem as Israel's capital, and proposals to make Jerusalem an international territory, which he compares to strangers negotiating over your backyard. Greg also plays a clip claiming that Jesus was a Palestinian and explains how a lie repeated long enough can move people. Well-thought-out narratives move us, so we must stay in the narrative of the Word of God and ask whether what we hear is biblical. Keep Israel in your prayers. Scriptures referenced include Zechariah 2:8, Joel 3:2, Joel 3:14, and 1 Corinthians 1:21.   Notable Quotes "It's like the Palestinian people are taking on the identity that we are going to stab the apple of God's eye."   "That's like people negotiating over your backyard."   "That's why we have to be in the narrative of the Word of God to find out, okay, this is a great narrative, but let's find out if it's a biblical narrative."   "We always go back and compare those narratives to what God's word says."   #Israel #Jerusalem #TempleMount #PrayForIsrael #GregLancaster   Begin Your Journey Today! The Cry of Innocent Blood - Is America Under Judgment

3 Things You'll Learn What abandonment judgment is, and how God removed His protection from Samson and from Ephraim. Why Scripture shows that God deals with innocent bloodshed unless it is repented of, and what that means for America after decades of abortion. How mercy is not permission, and why a nation's repentance and turning to Jesus Christ is the way the land is healed.   Description: Could God's abandonment judgment already be at work in America? Greg Lancaster opens with a clip of Chuck Missler on the Jim Bakker Show explaining the different kinds of God's wrath, including the abandonment wrath. Samson went to break loose one more time and found the Lord had left him. Ephraim was joined to idols, and God simply let them alone and removed His protection. Greg connects this to the shedding of innocent blood. Since 1973, America has aborted tens of millions of children in the womb, more than the entire population of Canada. Biblical history shows that God deals with innocent bloodshed unless it is repented of. Greg also plays a clip of Rick Wiles describing a correlation he says an attorney friend found in the Western Hemisphere between a nation's abortion rate and its level of Muslim immigration. Greg reminds us that God is so just that He placed the punishment for our sin on His Son, so that everyone who receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior can be saved. God is very merciful, but mercy is not permission. Greg explains that God's Spirit will not always contend with man, that the land itself cries out, and that a nation can be healed when it repents and turns to Jesus Christ. He shares a dream and vision the Lord gave him, and asks the most important question of all: when the Lord comes back, are you ready? Scriptures referenced include Judges 16, Hosea 4:17, Romans 1, Genesis 6:3, Hebrews 4:12, Romans 8:19, and Proverbs 22:6.   Notable Quotes "Mercy is not permission. Not getting what we deserve is not permission. It's just the grace and the mercies of God."   "When you see your heart broken over a situation, understand that we can break the heart of God."   "God deals with innocent blood unless it's repented of."   "When is the Lord coming back? The question is, are you ready to go when He does?"   #InnocentBlood #Judgment #Repentance #America #GregLancaster   Begin Your Journey Today! Jesus didn’t just call us to believe in Him. We're Spending $1.3 Million Per Baptized Believer - Why We Must Rethink Church

3 Things You'll Learn Why spending $1.3 million per baptized believer shows that the way we do church in America needs to be rethought. How Jesus measures His people by what they did for the least of these, not by buildings, programs, or plays. Why the church in the New Testament met from house to house, and how opening your own home invites God's kingdom in.   Description: Whatever we are doing does not appear to be working. Greg Lancaster looks at the church in America and why we must rethink church. Citing George Barna, he notes that the church in America spends about $1.3 million per baptized believer, while in places like Cuba, where many live on $30 a month, the Gospel is exploding. Americans are a small part of the world's population and among its richest. Greg imagines what that money could do through a regional Christian television program or a new Christian school, and shares how two small churches meeting in homes joined together to open a school when their city was emptying out. It is not about programs, Christmas plays, another pew, or a different color carpet. It is about souls. Greg reminds us that when Saul went to persecute the church, he went from house to house, because that is where the church was. Jesus is asking to come into our homes, not just our buildings. Greg closes in prayer that our identity would be our love for one another, and asks God to end abortion, send revival, and bring a Third Great Awakening. Scriptures referenced include Matthew 25:31-46, Acts 8:3, and Revelation 3:20.   Notable Quotes "It's not about programs. It's not about Christmas plays. It's not about Easter plays. It's about souls, it's about people." "How many people would say, well, I'll let Him into our building, but I will not let Him into my house?" "Our identity is not our buildings, our organizations. Our identity is our love we have for each other."   #RethinkChurch #Kingdom #Revival #Discipleship #GregLancaster   Begin Your Journey Today! Jesus didn't just call us to believe in Him. Brigitte Gabriel - From Terror Survivor to Voice for America

3 Things You'll Learn How Brigitte Gabriel survived a terrorist attack in Lebanon and found her God-given purpose after September 11. Why she believes understanding the history of radical Islam matters for national security and for choosing wise leaders. How Christians can be wise as serpents and innocent as doves: loving and praying for all Muslims while not burying their heads in the sand.   Description: After September 11, Brigitte Gabriel lay on her couch for seven days. The images on the screen brought back the day she was trapped and wounded in Lebanon as a young girl, tasting her own blood and hearing her parents scream her name. When her 10-year-old daughter asked why anyone would do this, she heard herself repeating the same words her father told her 30 years earlier. That was her defining moment, and she shares how God used the pain of growing up in war to prepare her to make a difference in America. Greg Lancaster introduces Brigitte's testimony and then plays her address at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, DC. She traces the history of the Islamic caliphate, the treatment of Christians and Jews as second-class citizens, the origin of the yellow star, the Crusades, the end of the caliphate in 1924, and how oil wealth and the 1979 Iranian revolution helped revive it. She explains the use of deception in treaties, cites a 2013 Pew Research poll, and urges Americans to be educated and to choose leaders who understand the threat. She closes with a warning from Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel about a people who would not listen to the witness who escaped. Greg then reflects on what he heard. Every human being matters to God, and we want to lead people to the Lord, but we must not embrace something that would destroy our nation. He closes with a prayer for America to wake up, choose whom it will serve, return to God's Word and prayer, and raise up leaders with a heart like Josiah. Scriptures referenced include Matthew 10:16, Matthew 7:12, Matthew 5:44, Joshua 24:15, and 2 Kings 22-23.   Notable Quotes "God does not change the world by just doing lightning in the sky. God changes the world by using His people to make a difference."   "Education is important, but education by itself is not sufficient. Education must be coupled with action."   "I lost my country of birth, Lebanon, to radical Islam. I do not want to lose my adopted country, America."   "We believe that every human being on the face of the earth is important, and that God loves them. We want to lead them to the Lord."   #BrigitteGabriel #Testimony #NationalSecurity #WakeUpAmerica #GregLancaster   Begin Your Journey Today! Jesus didn’t just call us to believe in Him. God Is Looking for a Modern Day David to Step Onto the Scene

3 Things You'll Learn Why God is still looking for one person to stand in the gap, and why that person might be you. How David stepped out from among people hiding behind rocks and faced Goliath with what God had already taught him. Why the old armor of tradition and religion cannot defeat today's giants, and how to stand in God's strength instead.   Description: Everyone agrees something needs to be done, but most people are waiting for someone else to do it. Greg Lancaster asks a simple question: is there not a cause? He looks at the threats facing Israel, the Christians being shot and the Jews being attacked, and leaders cutting deals with nations that want to destroy Israel. He reminds us that if God allowed Israel to go into Babylonian captivity, America cannot assume it is irreplaceable. Our greatest gift is freedom, and God is waiting for someone to use it and say, here I am. Greg walks through the story of David. Samuel quietly anointed the shepherd boy his own family overlooked. Then David carried bread and cheese to the front lines and found the whole army, even the king, terrified and hiding behind rocks while Goliath taunted the armies of God. When David stood up, the critics started in, and Saul tried to dress him in armor that was not working anyway. David took what God had already taught him, five smooth stones and a sling, and the giant fell. Greg also shares a powerful clip from the movie Woodlawn about love, forgiveness, and a team transformed when God shows up. This episode is a call to come out from behind the rock. You are not crazy and you are not alone. God is looking for a David, a Josiah, a Jeremiah, a man or woman after His own heart who will stand in His wisdom and strength. Greg closes in prayer for everyone with the heart of David to rise up for a day such as this. Scriptures referenced include 1 Samuel 16, 1 Samuel 17, Ezekiel 22:30, Acts 4, Jeremiah 27, Matthew 5:44-46, and Proverbs 29:18.   Notable Quotes "It doesn't take many to stand up. But it takes someone to stand up."   "Are you hiding behind a rock? Are you hiding behind your tradition and your religion?"   "The church is not supposed to be cowering down. We're supposed to be standing up."   "Unless God's in it, it's not going to work."   #IsThereNotACause #DavidAndGoliath #StandInTheGap #Courage #GregLancaster   Begin Your Journey Today!
