    S01E07 - Saints & The Local Church Pt. 1

    For all whom the Son of God gave His life for, have been grafted into His body. His physical body? Not really so. But His body here refers to the church (Matt. 16:18); we, being the body and Christ being the head of the church, His church. This has a universal tone to it, but we see in the Bible that it unfolds into smaller units, commonly known as 'the local church'; where the church universal is not geographically bound, but local churches are. We discuss the necessity of the saints and their belonging to a local church as a sign of belonging to the church universal and the scriptural forms of a local church.

    We often hear people say self-love (selfishness) is the key to honoring God's commandment to "love your neighbor as yourself"; as the argument goes, "how can I love my neighbor as I love myself, if I don't love myself first?" Pretty strong argument, but is that what the word of God teaches and commands? Can a Christian consider this thought as a way of living? We attempt to weigh this worldview through the lenses of Holy Scriptures and try to get to the heart of this worldview.

    S01E01 - Saints & Love/Worship

    The 'supposed' pilot episode into our journey, and the 1st of 3 in what we called 'foundational' topics. Jesus Christ tells us that there are no commandments greater than that of the love for God and for neighbor, and on them, hang all the Law and the Prophets (Matt. 22:36-40). Also, while we prepped hard for this, the idea of worship kept butting in as they prove to be inseparable yet distinct.
