The Disco Queens dive into the start of the Gay Liberation movement looking at the Stonewall riot, S.T.A.R. founders Marsha P. Johnson and Rivera, and other moments in 1970 that created the ripple effect to over turn federal legislation that we continue to see in present day.     36-24-36 used to be a "winning" hand, but now just reminds us of the unrealistic expectations on women's bodies and overall appearance. What we wear, what physical size we are, and how we age. We have heard the comments since childhood that have formed the mold we thought we needed to fit into. This week the Disco Queens look through a retrospective lens and discuss their own experiences of how the expectation of women's body is supposed to "look" shaped their own thoughts about themselves.
