    Episode 73 — “DITKA: Da Coach, Da Legend” Da Bears. Da Coach. Da Legend. This week, the Armchair Allstars kick things off with a full-blown roast of Scoop, whose weekend went from bad to downright embarrassing. Not only did every one of his teams find a way to lose, but Scoop managed to completely implode in his country club championship, falling to an up-and-coming 14-year-old golfer. The kid has a bright future. Scoop might need a new hobby. The laughs give way to a heartfelt tribute as the crew remembers Mike Ditka, an all-time Armchair Allstars favorite and the legendary face of Chicago Bears football. From his fiery personality and unforgettable coaching career to the hilarious Saturday Night Live spoofs featuring Chris Farley, the guys celebrate everything that made “Da Coach” a larger-than-life sports icon. Then it's back to the absolute madness of college football! LSU falls to Kentucky in overtime, leaving Lane Kiffin's inaugural season in Baton Rouge teetering on the edge of disaster. Meanwhile, Ole Miss demolishes Vanderbilt, Texas takes a gut punch from Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry, and the college football landscape continues to turn upside down. The Allstars recap the biggest games, debate the fallout, and look ahead to another loaded weekend on the gridiron.     Episode 72 — The Bulldog Beatdown The Allstars are back to sort through another packed week of sports—starting with LIV Golf somehow becoming even more dead following Jon Rahm’s departure. The crew breaks down the MLB Playoffs, the latest NFL contenders beginning to separate themselves and two very different 0–4 experiences for Reid and Stoner’s teams. In college football, Alabama’s beatdown of Mississippi State takes center stage, along with Missouri’s destruction of Florida. The guys also preview important road tests for LSU and Ole Miss before running through the biggest games of the upcoming weekend. The episode closes with Stump the Stone, CFP Eliminator updates and the latest Pick 5 standings.

    71 - Kamario puts the CFB world on notice!

    Episode 71 — “Put the World on Notice” Reid knew this one was coming. The guys waste absolutely no time piling on after Florida dismantled Ole Miss in The Swamp, and Reid is forced to sit there and take every bit of it. After the early comedy and well-deserved Rebel slander, the crew digs into some listener feedback before turning their attention to one of the biggest stories brewing in college football: Kamario Taylor and Mississippi State. Taylor is absolutely lighting up scoreboards, has forced his way into the early Heisman conversation, and just led the Bulldogs past a ranked Missouri team. Now comes the real test: Alabama. If Mississippi State can knock off the Crimson Tide, Starkville is going to erupt — and the rest of college football may have to accept that Kamario Taylor and these Bulldogs are for real. Then it's over to the NFL, where three weeks have already produced plenty of chaos. The Allstars break down the major injuries piling up around the league, some surprising teams sitting at 0–3, and which early contenders actually look like the best teams in football.     70 - The Rise of Trinidad

    Episode 70 — “The Rise of Trinidad” The Magnolia Bowl had everything. Lane Kiffin made his long-awaited return to Oxford — this time wearing LSU colors — after an entire offseason of bad blood surrounding his ugly departure from Ole Miss. LSU talked plenty leading into the matchup, but when the lights came on in Vaught-Hemingway, the Rebels had the final word. After LSU erased a 24–7 halftime deficit and tied the game, Ole Miss answered and finished off the Tigers 32–24 in an instant classic. (AP News) But the biggest story may have been The Rise of Trinidad. Trinidad Chambliss delivered a monster performance — 363 yards passing, two passing touchdowns and the go-ahead rushing touchdown — and suddenly the Ole Miss quarterback isn't just a great story; he's right in the middle of the early Heisman conversation. (Southeastern Conference) The Allstars break down the Magnolia Bowl, Kiffin's not-so-happy homecoming, Trinidad's emergence, and all the other madness from Week 3 of college football, including some surprising losses that shook things up across the country. Then it's over to the NFL after two weeks. The crew sorts through the NFC South pecking order and tries to figure out what the hell is happening in Tampa Bay. All episode. The guys recap a wild Week 1 of college football, starting with LSU’s absolute domination of Clemson. Is this the beginning of the end for Dabo Swinney? The crew digs into Dabo’s refusal to adapt to the new era of college football and whether Clemson is getting left behind while the rest of the sport evolves around them. Then it’s on to Ole Miss, who survived an absolute battle against a really, really good Louisville team, walking it off in one of the best games of opening weekend. And Trinidad Chambliss wasted no time reminding everybody why his name belongs squarely in the Heisman conversation this season. The NFL is officially back, too, so the guys break down Week 1, the performances that caught their attention, and what might actually matter as the season gets rolling.
